You leave first thing in the morning, the Major will debrief you on protocols: clothing, weapons, your place in the team on this mission, respecting other team members, and so on, and any questions you have, and I hope you have some. I have a meeting to attend, I'll return in the morning to see you off.

"Captain,..Alright Bix...this mission is a simple recon mission to a crash site on Chai. Everyone on the team brings something to the table...your skills are no exception....*brings up the display and points to the various site....The area we are going is a forested area in the mountains. Mosby's crash site is here....the gate is here so it will be a bit of a hike but nothing we can't handle. You will need to dress appropriately. Even though we do not expect any hostilities we do not go through the gate unarmed."

"Ok with that we leave in the morning. I'll have the MALP loaded with enough food for an overnight trip along with survival gear....tents and such. Any questions?"

Are we staying over night near the crash site? Are we carrying all that gear with us or is that malp joining us for the hike.

I have a little knowledge of Chai and your relationship to it Major. Is this a simple "recon" mission, or should we be on guard for all "Hell" to break loose should your emotions get in the way?

"The plan is to return the same day but I just want to be prepared just in case....Bix the ship may hold the technology Mosby used to hold Dayna in a sarcophagus for all those years....plus while we obviously will not be doing so this mission...we need to see about getting the wreckage off the planet and make it like no one was ever there."

I understand your curiosity about the years Dayna was in the sarcophagus. That has many of us stumped.
