Solaris Humanus is a Science Fiction, Fantasy, etc... role playing site.
Your interests could be Dr. Who, Star Wars, Star Trek, Serenity - Firefly, Farscape, Babylon 5, etc....
Your interests could be science fiction or fantasy, they could be tv show based, movie based or book based, all are welcome to join us in our role play, and integrate your interests into the role playing.
The Board Layout:
Solaris Humanus is a Space Station.
The first section: Introduction to: Solaris Humanus Space Station on the board has 7 forums, and those forums are all Out of Character - OOC - meaning non-role playing. If you have questions or unsure where to post, please look here. The Help Portal would be a great place to start if you have questions, use this link, as a short cut.
The second section: Solaris Humanus's Arrival Stories and Standard Orbital Approach on the board has 4 forums, and these forums are intended for introduction stories to Solaris, and a place to leave your ship.
This section is for role playing.
The third section: Solaris's Core for Living, Working and all Social aspects on the board has 16 forums, soon to be 15, and these forums are the main core of the station, its operating systems and living and working facilities.
This section is for role playing.
The fourth section: Pirate Holdings on the board has 3 forums, and these forums are home to some of the Pirates or Mercenaries that find their way to the station.
This section is for role playing.
The seventh section: Random Wormhole on the board has 1 forum and that worm hole is erratic, but a connection to other universes, or galaxies.
This section is for role playing.
The eight section: Doafa Solar System on the board has 11 forums, and these forums are all corresponding planets to the planets on the star chart at the top of the board. The star chart is currently being updated, and so will this system.

The thirteenth section: Out of Character & Play Area on the board has 7 forums, and these are all Out of Character, and is our word game play area, and our archives area. You are welcome to post in the Word Game Play Area, or the Non-Solaris Humanus (SH) concerns - Advertising and Spamming forum.
Transportation on the Station:
In Character role playing transpiration on the station, is done by TTT, Travel Tube Train, it spans the entire length of the Role Playing area on the station. Think of a subway station, with a platform and train, but ours is the Science Fiction version of that.
Our Role Playing Galaxy - At A Glance:
Races: Here is a quick list of known races native in this galaxy.
Human --- Standard humans have been encountered. They seem to be the same as humans from earth. Some humans on Solaris have special abilities.
Teranian - A race very similar to humans. They are known for having a gentle nature, elegant features and good posture.
B'nai - A technologically advanced warrior race known for their hot tempers and intolerance. With faces full of ridges and fin-shapped ears, even their physical appearance is an intimidating one. While their greatest strength appears to be their technology it is unknown what their true capabilities are.
Teran - Terans are rather primitive compared to other races, living off the land in Tera's northern region. They have little to no technology and have essentially been shunned by the other races of the planet.
Aquan - A versatile and technologically advanced race. Originally air breathers, through artificially induced mutation, they are capable of living both both on land and in water. They were originally Terans before the mutations that changed their genetic structure, likely resulting in the blueish tones of their skin.
Ancients - Little is known about Ancients. Generally believed to be humanoid in structure but few have seen one. They are credited with creating Solaris Humanus and appear to posses great powers.
Monsters - Vicious creatures of all shapes and sizes have been encountered on various planets. Many are very aggressive and have been known to ruthlessly attack. Many deaths have been credited to monsters living in this galaxy.
Currency of the Galaxy
Any thing others feel worth trading, or feel has value.

You create a character name, personality, and story line for entry to this system or to the space station. You are only limited by your own imagination.
We do ask that you keep your character reasonable, so your character has weaknesses and strengths, and these don't have to be physical, they can be strength of character, or of a particular skill.

Deck 13 - Strange things happen, Time does not exist, Expect the unexpected on the board has two forums, and these forums are mystical, and at present off role playing limits, because of a deadly disease from the past. There is an entire city, that had been transported here by the Ancients, when the planet died? disappeared? or so people thought? Know one knows what happened to the planet - yet.
