If I understood the SST right, Kendall's wife had gone to the Talusian Colonies for some R&R. He was to join her when he wrapped up some case he was on a on Solaris. Then he left rather abruptly and the SST had lost communication with him.
I assume he wanted some much needed down time.

He had been extremely overworked, with Jack, (pauses) getting ill and being put into cryo-stasis, and then some time before Ginger arrived, and then her leaving to Azcad.
I don't even think she has ever sat at her desk.

As much as we think of Solaris as a peaceful and restful place, there are those that work overtime to keep it that way.

No wonder the security team were anxious to check out the colony. I would have thought Adam or his wife would have sent a message to Solaris if they could have

OCC More or less, I have been closing the forums on the other board, except the Help Portal. I will do the same for the Kotuku, to prevent spammers.
We are waiting on a few, including DH and Oliver, who both know we are here now, Oliver is waiting for Chris to get his bio back, and there are others, but I have yet to send out a mass email to let everyone know. I wanted this board more or less up and running and set, so yes, we are here now.

Captain, we are still out of range for contact, but telemetry is able to bring online a view of part of the Talusian colonies.
(a few strange noises from the video panel and some fuzzy white lines appear and then they clear to view the Colonies)
Captain, Talusia Prime and Talusia 4 are now able to be viewed. As you know, the attack was made on Talusia 4. In the live feed, you can see several areas of the planet still suffer battle damage. Many fires still burning or smoldering.

Captain, we are seconds away from opening communications with the colonies, and we are picking up some communication interference, or communication static, that we can't explain.

Keep monitoring, and if we loose communications with you, drop a communications buoys and cloak it, and even if we loose communications with you, you keep pinging that buoy and we'll track you.

Ooc I don't know if there is much point keeping Arcadia or the Manor going as they have not been used in so long. I should probably copy some stuff to text though.
Why the hell have they not sent out a distress call, they obviously need help.
