If there are only a handful of survivors who sent word of the attack to the reporters on Solaris, and where did reports of a communication blackout come from?
Are the Drej sending out misinformation to delay anyone finding out how devastating the attack was?
We need to take ground scans to see if the colonists have been killed or taken. Taken may well be worse.

Sarrin, is there anything that can be done to dissipate the Corbomite radiation vapor, instead of us waiting a couple of hours for it to dissipate on its own in an hour or so? And how long can the away team be in the Corbomite radiation without ill effects? I am now seeing more of a need for an on board EMH.
Can we get low enough to get below the radiation, or it is the type of radiation that is hovering on the surface of things?
I agree Sharrel, if they are taken its worse, and we need to find out, sooner then later.
How can the Drej, simply take 25,000 people? I am totally stunned with that, they would have to have developed a ship massive enough to transport and house that many people, and why keep them alive? Not that I want them dead, but why keep them? If they are alive, if this is true, and is going to require some serious strategizing to find out where they are, and how to get them back.
Sharrel, Good point, if there are only a handful of survivors who did send word of the attack to the reporters? I'm inclined to believe that it was the drej.
And what has become of Lt. Kendal?

Captain, I am not detecting harmful or deadly levels of the Corbomite. Although with this amount of devastation, it should be reading off the charts. I presume the Drej have "cleaned up" the area so as not to look guilty? The Away Team should be fine for now, but there is a chance some residual radiation could hinder their breathing within a few hours. The other two life signs I detected could already be affected by the remaining Corbomite.
A Drej Mother ship could have taken a 1,000 or so Talusians off the planet but they couldn't have removed them all with only one ship. And my data stream indicates that there is commonly only one Mother ship to each Drej battle. She has her minions in their thousands of small craft to do her bidding.
Perhaps a cleansing is in order? I have several chemical compounds (such as Silicon Dioxide and Tungsten) on board that in the right combination and dropped into the atmosphere, could help us finish the "cleaning" that the Drej started. Dr. Eiluned has access to the chemical storage if she would like to prepare the concoction.

How can the drej do so much destruction, and it not be off of the charts? Maybe they didn't want to harm us, I mean the human population? If so that means, it was a cold blooded plan to kidnap them. Or they did clean up the area?
A thousand? OMG the ship that they would have needed for 25,000, or 25 motherships? That is staggering!
That would help, if you could, we need to know for certain if there are any, (feeling uncomfortable, with the enormity of the possibles, and heaviness of hoping for them dead and not taken) bodies in the city, either way we need to get back to Solaris sooner then later, and we need information, and we need the others back from Azcad, espeically DH to do covert searching for the Drej.

Ensign Truman: The Drej are real bastards Reny. No emotion, no caring, just their own agenda, to destroy anything that isn't Drej.
Ensign Carter: Guys, I'm now picking up pockets of clean air. The radiation hasn't been bad but it isn't as dense as it should be for such destruction. And the pockets of no or little radiation is definitely weird.

They sound like they need to be eradicated.
This whole not seeing anybody or any bodies, is right up there on the weird scale. If there is not the radiation levels there should be, then I am assuming that it wasn't in their interest to have it that high.
I think we should return to the shuttle, and do a low level fly by of these pockets of fresh air and even try to land there, with luck we might find some life there.

Sarrin, can you please send an urgent comm to Alia, and ask her to comm Sin and the others at Azcad, please let them know its time to come home, there has been a drej threat.

Nothing that a little Drej elimination wouldn't cure. As long as it has been since the Earth was destroyed, every time those blue devils are mentioned it brings back awful memories and my nerves take a hit for a while. I'll be fine, and thank you for asking Anita.

Technically it might be possible to store that number of people as energy. It would take an amazing amount of computer processing power and energy to maintain that many individual patterns in a transport buffer, but theoretically it is possible.
Let’s take as many scans as we can before we start cleansing the area, we can analyse them later but I imagine we are going to need all the intel we can get.
As well as prepping for cleaning up the radiation we also need to set up a decontamination unit in sickbay and also get ready to treat those few survivors for radiation poisoning.

If anyone knows about energy its the Drej, I don't want to assume that this what they did, but lets say its a possibility, a real one. That would mean they have the technology, not to so good, but it would also mean it would be one ship, and no others.
Excellent idea, thank goodness you are here, Sarrin can you take some scans please? Are you also able to take some air samples, from difference locations?
OOC I'll find the image of the ship to post them, not sure if there is a decontamination unit in sick bay, but we did purchase one.
