I will attend to a few other patients for now. Keep a close eye on him. I want to know how his pain level goes. If it doesn't subside soon, we will do the intravenous drip. I don't want the pain to cause problems elsewhere in his system.
(walks back to the Captain)
Can I walk you out Captain? Maybe we should see who is wanting to speak to our patient? Interesting it comes just as he is in crisis.

I'm on it Doctor. I've never been in Oliver's circle of friends but I think after what has happened, he has come to trust me. At least with his medical care. So I will sit with him and make him as comfortable as possible. (the EMH sees the Captain out) (walks back over to Oliver's bedside tucking in his sheet) Oliver, if you are feeling better in the next few hours, I'll move you to a private room where you don't have to be reminded of all the medical stuff going on around you. And it will be a little more private for your treatment if and when we start it.  |

I wish I could answer that Oliver. There are so many oddities in the Galaxy. There is so much we don't understand. You being connected to Azcad as you are, and you being the closest Azcadian to the incident with the Gate, perhaps that connection you share with Azcad put you in the path of the pain it felt of losing part of itself. Maybe other Azcadians would have also felt it if they had been closer to the incident?

How is the pain right now? By the numbers please. 1 Through 10. 1 being almost non existent and 10 being the worse it can be.

(she disconnects the machine that is attached to his bed that was reading his vitals and making sure he is tucked under the sheet well, starts to move the bed with Seth's help) I guess you are moving up Oliver!
