*upon running a series of scans the Qualinar Stealth has seemingly disappeared.
Comm to Solaris
"Comms should be open for the meeting in the docking bay. This should be interesting. On the Qualinar Stealth.....We have run scans of the area and long range sensors are not picking up any trace whatsoever. No debri or anything. It was here before the storm and was just gone once the storm subsided. I suggest we launch several long range probes in every viable direction and see if that offers any solutions. Major Voss out."

*Down in engineering....comm to bridge
"Reny...probes ready to launch. Launching manually from here."
*bay doors open from the keel and several probes slowly exit the ship. One by one their engines fire up and they head off to parts unknown in search of the Qualinar Stealth. Voss then exits and returns to the bridge.
A few minutes later he walks through the bridge doors as they slide open.
"Sitrep." he asked as he takes the captains seat.

Thank you for my hand back. Nice to meet you Dr Eiluned. Earth may have been a seeded planet, there was a lot of that going on many many many years ago. Although I have no reference to actual time. Interesting that many species have evolved along a simplifier line. How may I put you at ease for my intentions of this first meeting?

I don't really require food nor drink as I understand is a common way to bond for most life forms. As I am still a life form but lack a body that reduces the equation somewhat. Please feel free to have food or drink if you require.

 There we go. LIS, we do not "expect" return on our good deeds. Of course anything that would benefit our people is always a welcome gift. The Xenon's offered assistance with an end to a darkness they tell is coming to this galaxy. I suspect you know this as well?
Should we agree to help you, what have you in mind in return for this help?

We know of its mention, it has been repeated many times. A sign that the darkness may appear is when Solaris comes to life. Solaris has come to life through you humans, the darkness will be a test and challenge to all, and the existence of life is the cost if the darkness succeeds. More then that I can't tell you.
We can help in many ways, we can offer assistance of knowledge of these planetary systems, even the composition of the space of these systems. We may even be able to help in this challenge of the dark side, on our part we do want to understand more of what it means to be human. Assuming that we will be able to attain this state again.
There may be others ways that we can assist but that has yet to be determined since we haven't really started a relationship yet beyond what we have here now.

He wants to go home with us. Is there some kind of protocol, or rules for taking home strays?   I'm a stray and I was taken home yeah but I knew Anita before so bringing me "home" wasn't exactly taking home a stray. |
