It could have been worse, we still felt the outward blast, and I'm sure this system will feel it as well.
How in all of creation were they able to find us? and project a holographic image here?
I know Oliver, I had hoped to get Lt. Kendall's wife back, and talk to the Mayor about her colonists resettling.

Reny, Oliver, I heard what you did with the containment fields in the cavern, I don't know what you did or how you did it, to make it into a weapons to kill the drej, I want you both down to engineering and make one, make a massive weapon one that will destroy that drej ship we just saw. I don't want to hear from you two until its done!

Sarrin, I am really conflicted right now.
Looking at her hands and seeing them shaking.
I have never ever seen anything like that before, I mean the destruction of an entire planet.
I now have a better understanding of what happened to Earth, the emotions, shock, and catastrophe, and so much more I don't know.
Closes her hands.
Sarrin, I once swore I would never fiddle with time, but the shock of seeing Talusia blown up and changed that.
I can't remember what I taught, I am too shaky, if we sling shot around the gravity of a sun, in the outer orbit, then we go back in time for minutes, if we sling shot around the sun's gravity nearer the sun, we go back further in time.
I only want to go back a few minutes, and I want to destroy that drej ship before it kills Talusia.
Are you able to do the calculations on that?
When Oliver and Reny finish that weapon, I want to destroy that drej ship.

Captain, while I have never made computations like that before, in theory it can work. Space and time dimensional doorways have been known to exist long before our own Galaxy existed. I can get to work on the computations, but cannot finalize them till we make our way toward the Talusian sun for the final settings. But I must warn you, my programming, neural pathways in my circuitry could be damaged beyond repair.
And Drifter, he will need to be apprised of the situation and prepared. I can fortify the shielding around the ship but damage to his hull and other parts of the ship could be unavoidable. He has taken to you rather well. I will default to your voice and reasoning that he has come to depend on and trust.

In all of her life she had never seen anything like that, all those life forms, all those people on Earth, all those lives. How many other times has the drej done this, how many other times have they killed with no remorse, no regret, no conscience.

(As Sarrin waits for the Captain's orders to do as she asked, the sound of a computer being turned on and magnified 10 times can be heard by all in the ship as the massive brain begins its monumental task of calculations and computations to make the sling shot effect around the Talusian Sun in order to change the course of time itself.)

I want to save that planet really bad, I want to stop it from being destroyed, but I am not going to put you, Sarrin or the Drifter in harm's way, we will be using the weapon that Reny and Oliver are putting together to destroy that drej ship, but it won't bring back that planet, that beautiful living planet.

Wipes her eyes and nose on what? nothing close at hand, she uses her shirt's sleeves.
Who is here?
Hears the voice, and knows its right.
Feeling tired and exhausted, she can't risk the Drifter or Sarrin, she won't, the planet is lost, at least this drej ship will be gone.
At least the lives of the colony are safe, and she can't dwell on all of the people and all of the planets that have been murdered by the drej, what she can to is help to change the future, and by destroying this ship, she will at least send a message to the drej, that NOW they have something that can destroy their ships, and that they are a force to reckoned with.
Tucks the whisky and glass away.
She is mess, standing up, she heads to her quarters for a quick shower and change of cloths. She still feels like she wants to throw up, but she isn't shaking any more.

Drifter, (birdie) you wait her on the bed, I'll be back with clean cloths after I shower, then we'll go and see how Oliver and Reny are doing with the anti-drej weapon, I'll explain later, I need time first.

(The aging Planet killer ship uses a massive amount of power to kill. It must take time to restore its power core to full capacity. It rotates into a horizontal position form the vertical one it was in to blast Talusia and begins its restoration to full power)

This is much easier then I thought, most of the containment field components are larger and stackable. We'll have to transport them to the shuttle bay and we can operate it from there. Let me reverse the setting to it that turned it into a drej killer.

Captain, I have been keeping scans open on the Drej Mother Ship and heat signatures from within indicate that it is arming itself and is now pointed directly at us. It will have its arsenal at full capacity within 45 minutes.
