Constable, you were right on! It's the COOKIE'S!
(With Beth in good hands with Nigel and the other SST, he quickly makes his way back to the replicator and instructs it to send 10 cookies "crushed" to the pod in very close proximity of Bubba)
It's on its way Constable, keep your fingers crossed it isn't to late for Bubba!

UHHHHHHH...What the....? Wh-What is going on?!! Oy, I feel like I've been pulled through a black hole sideways! Where in the beans am I?! What is this place? OHHHH...my aching bu..err, head!!
*After an all-too-brief passage of time, Bubba painfully awakens from his fitful sleep. Struggling to stand, he slowly takes in his surroundings while trying to figure out exactly where he is. A quick glance through the portal provides a view of the twinkling lights of the station several hundred meters away. *
Oh, man. I'm not on Solaris. I must be in some kind of...shuttle or pod, maybe? It doesn't look like I'm too far away. But how did I get out here? The last thing I remember is...
*A sudden flash of recall brings all the horrific memories rushing back, pummeling Bubba almost as severely as the freakish creature. Falling back against the bulkhead, he fights to maintain control of his emotions as well as his sanity.*
That...that monster! Were is it?!! Where did it go?? I was all wrapped up like a human burrito by that thing! I couldn't move a finger! And the others? Constable Ginger...Seth...Nigel...the security team...what happened to them? Are they alright? I've gotta...I've gotta think...*
*Taking a seat on the floor, Bubba frantically tries to gather his thoughts. At the same moment, he notices a slight shimmering next to him and watches as something begins to materialize to his left. Instinctively, he reaches over to find a small pile of some kind, and grabs a handful of the strange substance.*
What the...? This looks like...like...cookie crumbs?

(Yelling out)
EVERYONE, LISTEN TO ME! IF YOU CAN, STAY CLOSE TO THE COOKIE CRUMBS ON THE FLOOR. IT APPEARS THEY HAVE SOME AFFECT OVER THE CREATURE. TILL WE COME UP WITH SOMETHING ELSE, ITS OUR BEST BET FOR NOW.
(He sees to Beth and pulls her away from the tunnel. Seeing the Constable seems OK, asks her to stay with Beth. He checks on the SST members)
(Yelling out again)
SETH, IF YOU ARE DONE WITH YOUR BAKING, HOW ABOUT A HAND WITH THE SST?!

*With Ensign Beth safe((OOC: For now! )), the others become aware of the strange response of the creatures. Every time one of the monsters comes in contact with the crumbs, it shrieks loudly and pulls away. Hearing Nigel's words, the rest of the team shelter behind a line of the cookie fragments and try to catch their breath. The two medical staff rush to treat the wounded with the limited supplies on hand, and watch as the tendrils repeatedly try to cross the powdery line. But as he cares for his teammates, Nigel makes a troubling observation...each time one of the creatures comes in contact with the crumbs, the reaction is little less severe. The screams are not quite as loud, and the retreat of the monsters is less and less. From what he can determine, it appears that the creatures are developing a tolerance to the substance. Every time they advance they seem to grow stronger and stronger, with each attack more intense than the last.*.

(Beth, who has had a little more time to observe while others are attending to her cuts and bruises, warns the team that it appears that the monster is getting "immunized" against the cookies)
Ensign Beth Lowell: (very tiredly says) Nigel...the...the monster....Cookies becoming less....affec....tive. (she passes out)
Lt. Gregory Boma : My God! They aren't as affected as before. We have to clear everyone from this area and transport it out into space!

*Back in the pod, Bubba begins to piece together the events leading to his current predicament...*
I remember there was a crash. Then stumbling around...people running...a cute kid, what was her name? Bev? Bess? Something like that. Blood coming out of my nose, running all over. Nigel...Seth...fixing me up. Then lavender. Yeah, that was nice. More running...yelling...and...and...then that "nightmare" jumped me! Damn, I couldn't move! Ginger was yelling about transporting...hey, that's it! She must have transported me and that...thing out into a pod off the station! Probably to isolate us from the rest of the crew. Good idea, that's what I would have done. But now...the monster is gone. Don't know where...don't know why. All I know is it's gone. And I'm floating around in La La land without a way to get back...
*Checking the cabin, he looks for a way to communicate with the station.*
Hmmm...I don't have my combadge. There must be an intercom around here somewhere. Don't see any controls. Maybe it's voice-activated...
*Moving in front of the portal, Bubba starts to jump up and down, waving his arms and calling out to the station...*
HEY...IT'S ME, BUBBA! EVERYTHING'S OKAY NOW! THAT THING IS GONE! LET ME IN! HELLO...HELLO?! Oh, good grief! No one can see me flapping around through this little window! Hello...hello? Anyone...?
*Although a bit embarrassed, he continues to call out, hoping for a response.*
Oboy...I could use a snack...
*Feeling slightly hungry, he remembers the cookie crumbs and bends down for a handful. As he does, he notices a small piece of what looks like material or fabric next to the pile.*
That's odd. Kinda looks familiar. Very familiar. I know I've seen that before. Did it come from the creature? Let me take a closer...
*A sudden realization halts Bubba in mid sentence. Beads of sweat drip from his brow and a sickening wave strikes him like a kick to the gut. He closes his eyes, trying to rationalize the sobering truth lying a few inches away. Quickly snatching up the object, he stuffs it in his pocket while wiping his forehead. As much as he wants to reject the revelation, the bizarre puzzle pieces that have fallen into place won't be put back in the box...*

*The painful truth behind the origin of the monster gnaws deeply at Bubba while he tries to work out a way to return to the station.*
I've...I've gotta get back. Gotta warn the others. Got to figure out some way to stop this...mess. I can't let the others down. Gotta fix this...gotta get back and fix this.
*In spite of the intense guilt now added to his emotions, Bubba shifts his attention to the pod and its inner workings.*
Maybe I can hijack the internal systems, utilize them to contact the station. I dunno. What else can I do? Hey, maybe I can vent the oxygen...create a controlled stream in the opposite direction that would push the pod toward the landing dock. Hmmm...I kinda like that idea. Yeah, kinda like that. Besides, what could go wrong...?
*Bubba closes his eyes and swallows several times...*
...Don't answer that. Okay, Mr.C...it's just you and me. Let's get the party started...
*With cleaver in hand, Bubba starts to move about the cabin prying off paneling to find a way to implement his plan.*

*The fighting presses on around them as Seth and Nigel tend to Ensign Lowel. And as her wounds are cleaned, a troubling new problem presents itself. Within each injury, they find small, fibrous filaments wedged deeply into the wounds, tightly adhering to the tissue. With renewed determination, they struggle to find a solution, but every disinfectant used seems less effective as the last.
Behind them, the security team strengthens their line while the creatures regroup for another charge. The combination of the team's firepower and the cookie particles have managed to hold off the monsters...for now. But the advantage grows weaker with each succeeding charge...*

*Hearing Ia's voice, Bubba stops working and eagerly responds...*
Hello...?! Ia...? Is that you, Ia? Can you hear me? Hello?
*Not sure if he is hearing things, Bubba calls out even louder while jumping and waving his arms...just in case he isn't hearing things.*
Ia....hello, Ia!? Can you get me outta here?! Please get me outta here! The creature is gone! It's okay to bring the pod back on board! Hello? Can you hear me? Hello...?
*At that moment, the pod violently shudders and a loud hissing sound can be heard. Bubba rushes to the portal to see the pods oxygen supply rapidly venting outward. Apparently, the earlier release of energy by Mr.C combined with Bubba's prying at the wall panels had created a weak section, which now seems to have ruptured causing a breach in the hull.*
Ummm...Ia? I don't mean to be pushy, but if you could hurry I would really appreciate it...

If you wish to return to the station, you must first get authorization, but here is a comm badge to help you with that.
A Comm Badge is transported in, and lays at Bubba's feet.

Th-Thank you, Ia. Uhhh...I don't want to be a bother, but...umm...how exactly do I get authorization?
*The rising level of anxiousness growing inside Bubba is matched by the loudness of the escaping gas. He hurriedly tries to active the comm badge for assistance.*
Hello...? Can anyone hear me? Hello? Ia...I don't think this thing is working. Maybe it needs new batteries...

*When they are finished with their examination, they realize that everyone who had come in contact with the creatures is now infected with the fibers. And after none of their medications or techniques seem to combat the problem, Seth and Nigel are at a loss...until they both stop and turn to the small stack of crumbs near their feet.*

*While the team is focused on the creatures attacking head on, they fail to notice the tendrils behind them, where 4 or 5 of the segments have joined together, creating a long rope-like structure. Before the security members can react, the creatures manage to elevate over the line of cookie crumbs and rush to attack. Lt. Boma is the first to realize what is happening and throws Ginger safely to the side as one of the monsters springs forward. Unfortunately, he is unable to dodge and is captured himself. Robinson, Dillon, and Baxter turn just as their teammate is overrun and try to help, but each one is set upon by the coils before they can move out of the way. The additional members of the SST also rush in to help, trying to avoid hitting their friends while not being captured themselves...*

(Yeoman Kelly Sullivan finds herself the only SST free and not affected at the moment. She tries her best to fire upon the creatures, making little headway. She feels like breaking down and running for her life, but she stays and carries on the fight. Just as she feels she can no longer fight, Yeomans Matthews and Charles enter and fire their laser rifles at every freakin' monster they can hit)

Wait a minute...Whaaa...? I could have sworn you just said "closet"...
*Shaking his head several times while rubbing each ear, Bubba once again turns to address Ia...*
Y-You did say "closet", didn't you?! I can't believe you said "closet"! Don't you think I would have looked in the closet if there was a closet in here?! I've been up and down this place looking for a way out and now you're telling me to check the "closet"? Ia, I don't mean to be rude, but Great Jumping Space Frogs! You've gotta be kidding me, right?! I mean really, Ia...I thought you were supposed to be some kind of superior intelligence, not a washed-up, 20th century, 8 bit Nintendo game platform! You call yourself a super...a super...sup...umm...err...I...*gulp*...
*With all that had transpired, compounded with the stress and isolation, Bubba had failed to notice the clearly labeled door marked "Supply Closet" in the corner of the cabin.*
Ummm...Ia...? I'm...uhhh..s-sorry about the "8 bit" thing. I...I'm sorry. I'm just...just a little...tired. Can you forgive me?
*Ashamed of his impolite behavior, Bubba slinks to the closet and climbs into one of the emergency suits, then stands in the corner to think about his poor conduct...*

*With the arrival of Charles and Matthews, Yeoman Sullivan finds new strength within. A renewed determination replaces the doubt she once felt as she turns to join the others in blasting every freakin' monster they can. The additional weaponry causes some of the creatures to detach and turn to face the new threat. While the main mass of tendrils continues the head on assault, several smaller groups break off...some in a flanking maneuver, and some burrowing down through the floor plates. Before the SST can react, another group has managed to work its way into the power conduits, causing disruptions in the lighting and other systems. As the lights begin to flicker on and off, an even more eerie mood settles over the crew...*

Seth, go out to the replicator and replicate more cookies!

OOC: Wow, Nigel! Remind me never to get on your bad side! *Moments after Beth swallows the crumbs, Nigel is astounded by the reaction taking place within her wounds. The tiny fibers recoil suddenly and release their grip on the surrounding tissue, pulling back so quickly that they flutter to the ground like a nightmarish snowfall. After landing on the floor, they writhe about for a few seconds, then stop. With a deep breath, Nigel carefully gathers some of the pieces to examine them. Some of the fragments dissolve away into nothing. Others just lie there motionless. But one or two of the others start to move again...not as they did before, but very slowly, very lethargic...at least for now. Intrigued, he places these fragments into a specimen container and returns to Beth. To his amazement, she has recovered and is standing in front of him with a wild expression on her face. A quick look passes between the two, and moments later Nigel is dumbfounded as the Ensign leaps over him and the entire team, a distance of 30 or 40 meters, scoops up one of the broken deck plates, and begins smashing any creature within arms length.*

*Stepping back into the cabin after his self-imposed timeout, Bubba meekly calls out to ship's computer...*
Ia...? I...uhhh...I'd like you to have this. I made it for you while I was...ummm, in the closet...
*From behind his back, he slowly pulls out a crude paper flower, fashioned from the odds and ends found in the supply closet...*
It's...It's a flower. I made it from the stuff I found in there...some tissue paper...a pencil...a couple of gum wrappers...a used power solenoid coupling with a level 7 inversion filter...things like that. I know it's no Michael A. Jello, but maybe now you won't toss me out the air-lock...?
*Before Ia can respond, he continues...*
...And I was wondering if you could connect me with Captain Thomas, or someone from the Secure TTT platform? They know I'm out here and can probably bring me back to the station.
