A portal opens in front of the Docking Bay 001.
When entering, there will be hundreds of ships' docking spaces on multiple levels, you are free to find one that suites you. Many have parked ships, others are empty, some are small, others mid size and others much larger.

I see the portal Solaris, maneuvering to dock now.
(entering the portal, He sees the docking bay filled with ships. Eyeing one that seems workable, he sets the Shiree down and unbuckling his belt, makes his way to the exit hatch and waits at the bottom of the small stairs of the ship for Ia to arrive)

Really? Here if you want to transport, simply address the computer and say where you want to go and you will be transported. I can't imagine living without it, walking is good, but in a hurry or long distances, you can't beat it.
Sounds like a plan.

But in the last 100 years or so, we have come a long way. There now Ia, what do you think? Can we duplicate this several times and install it in some of your ships?  |

My primary objective is to protect the station, the Captain and the populace. That sounds simple, and in that order, but its not, the Captain isn't always here, and the populace - one of the Captain's objectives, as is the station, and I don't know which one comes first, sometimes I think its one, then at others times, I think its the other. I also think she would be hard pressed if she was forced to choose one over the other, and at the same time, lol its complicated.
Needless to say, I pretty much stay put, and at this time I do know the Captain is on Solaris, and as this is a short excursion, it should be ok.

Be amazed at how the Shiree feels as light as a feather as we lift off.
(Flipping a switch, the engines purr like a kitten as they start up. Then it lifts up off the deck and hovers as he contacts flight control to open the hatch to allow them to depart)
The is the Shiree to flight control. All systems go for departure on your command.
