You are right, and not the only one who has noticed this 'disturbance', and lets call it a disturbance, unless you have another name you wish to use to refer to it. We have had a vague warning that it was coming, but we don't know what, and we still don't know 'what' it is.
We have recently had contact with another race, one that surprised me, that also spoke of a disturbance. We do have another meeting scheduled with them, I hope soon, and I hope that they can help us figure this out.

I had no idea it had come that far for you already. Phylla City's Council of Elders have warned me of the coming. They are all knowing, yet they are not able to understand any details of their visions and continue their endeavors to understand what they feel is coming.
This is why I have asked your Captain Gideon to become our Ambassador to Tera. This "disturbance" has led me to believe that we need to build our defenses. Add to our fleet of star ships that are quite old. Trade technologies with Solaris so that we can stand side by side and defeat whatever is to come. I just hope it isn't to late for us to do what we need to do.
I am so sorry our first meeting has begun with such a dark cloud hanging over it.

It is best that we talk about this, and I'm not sure what is more difficult, not knowing what this disturbance is, or would it be more difficult in knowing what it is?
I also feel that we must join together, and those who feel it, or know of it, if we can collectively get together I do feel we will stand a better chance and survive, and get past this disturbance.
It might even be an idea if you had a representative and the Ambassador join me, when I meet with this race.
You have nothing to be sorry for, times are changing quickly and we are walking into murky waters, so to speak.

Yes, I agree. It is best we discuss and communicate with anyone else that may know something of the "disturbance."
And I do agree that I should have someone from Tera join you and Captain Gideon when you meet with this race you speak of. I will make the decision of who that is before I leave your Station.
Captain Thomas, I see what it is that makes Solaris Humanus what she is. Its strong, determined leader. And I believe WE together, will make Tera's and Solaris Humanus's future a strong and bright one!

I'm glad we had this chance to speak privately Captain. You have been most kind and gracious. I will keep you abreast of any changes in this "Disturbance" our Elders speak of and please contact me as well should you come across any changes. I thank you for allowing Gideon to be Tera's Ambassador and will also speak to him about this as well, sooner than later. We will speak again before I leave the station for Tera. But now, I should leave you to your duties and all you must do before the Gala. And I should see to it that my family is ready to attend as well as myself. |

Opens a second monitor to show the fireworks on another screen. You know you can't be on the Visitors Platform, so you might as well at least catch the fireworks, and try to de-stress a bit, Nigel and the others have the situation in hand. |
