The way the “you, not you” is looking at Caleb through the glass suggests an emotional connection. So not something your counterpart from this reality would have.

Stealth, I want you in another hologram to show your travels.
Use the starting point from when you arrived here, and back track, and show it and all the star systems you travelled through in the hologram.
Pulls a gadget from his belt.

*the hologram switches....everything is quiet and Caleb is still in the hibernation pod. The ship is traveling extremely fast.....There is a star approaching....the ship orbits the star and is launched around and back the other direction.....The stars outside the ship look like long white streaks as the ship is traveling faster than anyone in the room has ever traveled. The time clock is also moving at a high rate of speed as the years progress faster and faster. ....after a few minutes the ship comes to a stop and the awakening sequence begins on the hibernation pod. Caleb starts to awaken looking much younger.
Chest is completely healed.

"Precisely a sling shot....You saw on the projection that the ship went around a star....a big star. Einstien had a theory of Time Dilation....I'm a little fuzzy on the details but using gravity in conjunction with speed to bend time....Could explain why 40 years lapsed by for him and only an hour or two for us. I don't know.....just throwing it out there."

*the projection starts once again with people working on the Stealth interior. Major Voss is seen standing over the pod with the older Caleb inside with a very serious chest wound. Lee stands over him just gazing at Caleb with that look of longing and sadness. The explosions start outside the ship and the people inside start scrambling to exit. The countdown starts again and the ships engines begin to come online. Major Voss says.."I'm sorry...this was the only way." He quickly exits the ship and the engines get louder. Outside is a mountain range with blue skies. Suddenly the view port fills with brightness and the ship is hurled into space almost immediately. The stars start to flash by and the large star is seen once again. The ship slings around the star and back out again. The stars are only seen as long streaks of light. The time clock is moving faster than anyone can keep up. A few minutes go by and the ship comes to a stop. 40 years have passed by. During this time Caleb's wound has completely healed and he is also much younger. The computer starts to awakening sequence and Caleb starts to stir.....

I think we would need to take the pod back to engineering.
So it looks like Caleb was wounded and somehow you had access to advanced technology to send him back in time and also somehow heal the wound Major.
Nothing in the theoretical books I have seen suggested that actual reverse ageing would occur, but then again the stresses involved in that kind of manoeuvre would likely prove fatal. I hope engineering can come up with something on this pod.
The technology involved suggests that that *points towards the projection* happens in the future. We have not encountered anyone with that level of technology unless the Xenons or Lis have it, but we are not at a point in diplomatic relations to give us access.
I suppose if the event happened in a few weeks or months there could be memory loss due to neurological damage so today was the last day Caleb remembers. However that doesn’t account for the timing of the stealth being caught in the storm and then returned if Major Voss was involved in the incident resulting in the slingshot.
On the other hand, if the stealth had not returned we would have gone searching, which could result in that, which then means we don’t have to search.
Have I mentioned how much I loath temporal physics? I loath it with a deep abiding passion. Paradox theory makes my head ache.

"Ummm ok. At this point in time we have no reason to doubt the Xenons or the Lis. So we need to keep a lid on the time thing and how Caleb is suddenly younger. We should proceed with the talks with the Xenons and the Lis until such a time we deem its not in our best interest. When we go back to Solaris let's get the engineers on this thing to see what it is and or does. Those kinds of G's would indeed do some damage to someone....I imagine there is some inertial dampener technology in there somewhere. Caleb....are you well enough to proceed?"

I can't think of anything, oh wait, when did you (Stealth) start to become aware of what was going on around you? What is your first memory? You had to have some sense of something to record the events you showed us.

I don’t like the idea of taking unknown technology back to Solaris, I think it might be better for the stealth to doc at the visitor platform than dock inside the station, just until we get more information about where the tech might have come from and are more confident it won’t explode or link with the station computers and download something dangerous.

Major, LIS suggested we should swing by the Xenons world while we await his planet to appear and quiz them about the LIS people to see what they may know about them or the UNUSUAL system they are from. Is that a viable option at the moment?
OOC: Sorry, gone again for real life. Not sure if this had been asked yet. I believe a response to LIS' last post was up to me. And I believe LIS and I are still alone and don't know how things are going with the Stealth.

Before leaving the Stealth.
This is my issue, I find it hard to believe that people who are advanced enough to create - upgrade the Stealth didn't leave some kind of message behind as to why. Not necessity the how, when, where and who which would be nice, but the why is the most important.
Maybe some kind of physical message was left, like a note, which means the Stealth will have to be search from top to bottom, inside and out. Or there is some kind of hidden drive, or file somewhere, it may or may not be connected to the main frame. Again a search from top to bottom and inside and out.
Right now we need to know how long we are going to wait for LIS planet, I'm off to find out.
