That has to have been strange for you from another reality. Caution it is. Approaching Twilight.

We must be there LIS. Now what sir?

Taking a wide berth of Twilight, Aurora, Dawn and Echoes, to stay out of the major traffic to this planet and its moons.
Slowing down as they approach the spot.
Approaching LIS location.

Normally I would wait until the planets align, except Twilight. It would be in its utmost furtherest orbit, so my planet would the highest planet in orbit. I can not offer any more advise as to what we should do, other then wait.

Honestly Anita at this point I am stalling for time.
*Closes the com and heads out to join the others*
We can deploy a series of probes now we know where the planet will appear. They can take constant readings and relay them back. That will give us a base line for this area, and alert us as soon as the readings change. We should be able to work out roughly where to position them so they don’t get caught in the planet’s gravity. Although without knowing the mass of the planet the calculations won’t be precise.
The planet phasing in and out must have had a profound affect on this sector, the gravitational force of a planet coming and going. I wonder if that could affect time. Temporal physics was never my strong suit at the academy. Or normal physics if I am being honest.
I really wish we could get a look at Xenon technology and compare it to what is on the stealth, but turning up at their door when we are not ready to open our own would be impolitic.
Did the Stealth have any answers Major?

“Nothing more than we already know. The technology is well advanced from what was there before. I did not stay to ask questions therefore a more thorough investigation is in order. Let’s take care of those probes first and get this set up. I’d like to sit and speak with Caleb about everything he can remember and then see if the Stealth can fill in any holes.”
*orders several probes launched strategically around the coordinates to where the planet should appear....
“Once they are in place we can start monitoring.”

Comm's Sharrel,
A location has been found, there is a hidden moon around Zan, in the Omoaes System.
Its a small moon and its constantly hidden because of the strange magnetic pull of Zan, and the sun, the moon's gravitational orbit, always seems to stay hidden in the shadow of the planet. Its tiny for a moon, its 1,376.6 km (855 miles) in diameter, and for those looking for it, or the odd time it is detected, it seems more like a large satellite (or asteroid) orbiting the planet.
From what we know of that system, I am calculating, and guessing that only when all of the planets are lined up in that system is the moon visible as a moon, but that only happens every couple of centuries, which is why it wasn't detected with our first scans.
The atmosphere is breathable, as its in the shadows, its much cooler the Zan itself, the temperature seems to run at a constant 70 degrees (21 C), its unpopulated, there are large rugged hills at each of the poles, the rest is more about the geography which I can send you.
Are you able to send an invitation to the Xenons from your location? If so send them the co-ordinates of this moon, and date the invitation for three weeks time, that way its after the grand opening on The Commons, and time to get supplies to the moon.

Let’s get the probes and a communication relay set up here. That will make it easier to stay in contact with the Xenons. Then let’s find out what the stealth knows. I don’t think we will be given permission to return unless and until we know it isn’t a threat.
*Steps out to take the call*
That is perfect, 3 weeks will give us time to set up a proper base. Can you get engineering started creating pre fabricated structures?

Major once the communication relay is set up please send a message to the Xenons asking them to meet us at these coordinates in 3 weeks.
Then if you can find out what happened to the stealth we can hopefully work up a threat assessment and work out our next step.

“Right away”
*sends message to the Xenons
“This is Major Voss of the Titan from Solaris. We very much would like to have further discussions concerning relations between your race and Solaris. I am transmitting coordinates to a mutual location. I request that we have another meeting to further discuss. If this is good please respond in kind. Titan out.”

Why don't we all go down to the Stealth and find out what happened.

What is LIS doing? Since we are here we could drop him off, we have the sensor probes set up.
I would also like to know from him, how long his planet is in phase it might prove an interesting visit to his world at some point.
Why can't we head back to Solaris after we drop LIS off? We have lots to do with talking to the Stealth on the journey home.

"I think it might be best to have LIS provide there own transportation. I would hate for one of us to go drop them off and get caught up in the in and out of phase scenario. Perhaps while we wait a visit to the Stealth is in order."
*stands up
"Sharrel...you and Captain Gideon are still ambassadors on this mission....Correct?"

I agree with leaving the LIS here after we ask how long the planet is in phase.

I would like to talk to the Captain about LIS. They could just follow us and we wouldn’t know.
I wonder if the goodwill of inviting him back to Solaris outweighs whatever risk there is inviting him. At least then we know where he is.

I trust LIS more then the Xenons. I'm not really partial to their machineness.
Anyone have any idea how often the planets line up? Isn't that like every couple of decades or something? Shouldn't we go and ask someone who would know? We've got a whole busy Twilight planet right near us.

We can’t go back to Solaris until we know what happened to the Stealth. So there we have time to kill. Let’s just stay cloaked while we are doing that.
Ideally we can get the info, speak to the Captain then decide if we can go home and if we are taking LIS with us.
I don’t mistrust or trust the Xenons. They are very other, but that doesn’t make them more of a danger, just harder to read.

I like to look into their eyes, I have difficultly doing that with Xenons. You are right, that is why you are higher up the rank then I am. Are we all going to the Stealth? Better to ask different questions.
