*laughs*. That or I have just been doing this job for a very, very long time.
My people have elevated deceit and backstabbing while still telling the truth and being very sincere to an art form Reny, so “otherness” doesn’t make me distrustful.
It is probably a good balance, with alien species the ones I might be more biased to trust the rest of the crew might be more wary of.
Let’s go chat to the Stealth, if we need to kill more time we can go scout out the area for the new base.

If the time is right, my planet will show itself.
If I may, since we are in the vicinity, why not use this opportunity to swing by the Xenons planet, and check it out for yourselves, or use the opportunity to ask them about my race, the planet or this system.
My planet will stay in phase for at least one cycle, I have never actually measure how many planetary cycles it stays in phase for, as I usually go to my planet. Nor do I know how many cycles it stays out of phase for. I have no concept of your time.
On my planet it is sometimes difficult to tell when its in phase or not, we gauge that from this system sun. Its rays are weak when we are out of phase, but we still get its rays. In phase the sun's rays are strong. In the past when there is a storm in this system, we didn't know when we were in phase or not, because it blocked the sun.

admire that or stay far from that.
As the group approaches the Stealth, Caleb is no where to be seen. Maybe Caleb is on the ship. Stealth, where is Caleb? |

A holographic projection plays showing Caleb inside the pod. People are working on the Stealth fitting new systems and such.

*Even when Major Voss and Reny board the holographic projection continues to play. The people working on the Stealth are all holograms of past events. The can see Caleb sitting across the room observing as well.
In the hologram "Caleb" can be seen in the hibernation pod. He has obviously been in a battle of sorts. Chest has a massive wound. Another figure walks up and places his hand on the glass as if longing to speak to him. Sadness can be seen in his eyes. Suddenly, laser fire can be heard and people start scrambling.
The figure turns and everyone observing the hologram can now see that this figure is Major Voss. He turns back to Caleb..."I'm sorry....this is the only way.....*yells out an order.....Start the countdown and everyone off this ship.".....
*the crew rushes off the ship and the hatch closes. The ship starts a countdown and explosions can be heard outside. Suddenly there is a bright flash of light and the ship is in space. The Stealth enters hyperspace.
*end hologram
"That is the end of display Commander. Shall I play it again?"
