A temporal event? The increasing severity of a temporal event dictates that each level of complexity of the event creates compounding increasing simultaneous events. I know the storm I created has effects/ events, but a true temporal event? it seems unlikely. Assuming it were a simple temporal event, then I would also assume that some systems of a ship might be knocked out, or the ship pushed a few thousand light years away. Assuming it were a simple - medium temporal event, then I would continue to assume that the storms ions created could interact with existing life. Existing life might then feel ill, but nothing to change the physiology of a life form. Continuing to assume it would knock out existing running mechanical systems of the ship, but not necessary destroy the physicality of the ship. Assuming it were a medium temporal event, life forms may be made unconscious for some of your days, but no threat to their lives. The running ships systems, would be rendered useless, with possible collapsing of the hull in vulnerable areas, such as a ships landing areas that would depend on force fields for entrance and existing. Assuming it were a complex temporal event, then it could very likely include time travel, of say no more then a week, two at best, however since I know I am not capable of time travel, I do not think it likely that my storm could create this level of event.
If the event you are referring to, is outside of my statement, then I would assume to conclude there was another life form involved.

That seems a reasoned analysis. The Stealth is reporting a time jump of 40 years. Caleb is conversely physically younger than he was this morning.
