Hmmmmm, computations were a little off Major. A self diagnostic might be needed for the Stealth. LOL
No word from the Drifter yet. They could be having comms disruption from the Asteroid field. I'll keep the channel open.

*shuts down all non essential systems and waits for the scans to come back. Turns to the others.
"We are currently in Stealth mode. Pretty much invisible to anyone or anything that is out there.....Dr. Eliuned and the others will be able to see us via the transponder."
*a quiet chirp sounds indicating scans are done....
"Ahh there it is. Mosby's crash site in right there in the lower hemisphere. There appears to be a clearing not too far away...about 1 or 2 clicks."

Can you start a scan for lifeforns. I don’t want to risk setting up a lab on the planet that might risk an indigenous population if there was a containment breach. However if there is no indigenous life then it is safer for us to have it off ship.

I'm not familiar with Chai Major. Is it possible there is any life below ground? And are our sensors strong enough to detect?

"Good question...one I had not thought about. Unfortunately my sensors are not ground penetrating...at least not from this distance. Once we touch down I can scan out immediate area...speaking of which. Once we land on the surface I want to set up a containment area large enough for a lab to be set up along with a few portable structures. I'm going to go ahead and get down to the surface and find a place to land the ship."
*turns and takes the ship off auto pilot and gently lunges the ship forward toward the surface.

Normally I would suggest a quick about turn on picking up any sign of the Drej but this might be the only way to rescue Adam’s wife, or at least find out what happened to her.
Have you contacted the Demon Hawk? That sensor net of Sin’s might come in handy
