Now that I have a 3rd party hosting account that allows hot linking, is anyone interested doing weekly animations again?

Nigel, I put your animation up on the board, and its not working, even when I host it and look at it through another browser. It may be that the animation is too fast ?? I'll try slowing it down, and then host it next week, I hope you don't mind, about that, and I used one that I found.

PROBLEM
I found the issues of why Nigel's first image would not work. When it is uploaded as an attachment, I can not use it. Why? Somehow, as an attachment it will not let me download it as an animation, and because of that, when I go to host it on a 3rd party hosting company, it is no longer an animation. When Sci, put his image up, he put a link up to the image in his post, and that link allowed it to stay as an animation, and because of that I was able to download it and then upload it to a 3rd party hosting company. Solondra's image did not work, as when it was downloaded, it was no longer an animation. However, I'm still able to use it, as it the original was rescued from Solaris Humanus from Yuku, and I had a copy of it. SOLUTION1. Do what Sci did, 2. Or email me - I have created a 2nd account with the 3rd party hosting company postimages.org/ and I will give anyone who wants it, the username and password, I won't put it publicly here, and when you do log into the 3rd party hosting company, I suggest you create a folder with your name on it, in the Gallery, and that will be yours, and each person using it will have their own folder. It might make it easier on everyone, (it is at least worth trying to find out) if we can all access the same sight, and the account and that way if their are problems, I could help a lot easier. As an added piece of information, I created my own folder in that account I just spoke of, and
IF, you upload your personal pic or avatar from Solaris as your first image, then your personal pic will always show as the folder cover, even when you upload other images to your folder. I uploaded other images, just to make sure and test this, and it is correct.

How to stay in your Folder: when uploading images: 1. When you log in, click on your folder, your image, assuming your uploaded your personal pic first. 2. You will then see the contents of your folder: and NOTICE in the upper left hand corner where it shows an image of a house, it also shows your folder name, in this case my folder. 
3. Click on UPLOAD It is below your folder name.
 Choose images, means click it and find the images on your computer.
4. IF for some reason - you don't see your folder name,
then in the upper right hand corner click on the words MY IMAGES
It will take you back to the main page, and you can find your folder, and click on it and start again.
5. Back to after clicking on UPLOAD below your folder name. I choose some images, and it uploaded those images, and it is showing me the images, I just uploaded.
HOW DO I GET BACK TO MY OTHER IMAGES?
Click on your folder name. 
6. When you are back in your folder with all of your images, PLACE your mouse over the image you want to put into the forms and you will see 2 icons pop up. A Share And a Garbage Can. -Delete
Click on SHARE
7. Clicking on SHARE will give you this image:
 I find the DIRECT LINK links works best on SH.
Click the on the icon at the far right hand side, on the same line as Direct Link, and it will copy the link to your image, to your computer.
Click Close.
8. Then come back to SH and use the "Insert Image" icon feature in our posts here,
The 'insert image' is in the last of the five 'blocks' with the happy face on it.
Go to the start of that block with: the blue earth on it, then there is an envelope, and then put your mouse over the 3rd it says "insert image"
Click that,
And a pop up window will pop up, and paste that link into the pop up window, then
Click "Insert Image".
Hope this helps.

And added NOTE: If you have, lets say 6 images to upload, put them all together (or in a folder), and when you highlight all of those 6 images on our computer, it will upload all 6 at once. |

Your welcome Sci, and thank you for asking on behalf of Nigel, yes, Nigel it does mean you have to redo both the images for the animation to work.
I just had an idea, with that account (Thank you Sci), I created a folder called "Animations" for those of you who want to use that account, (please email for username and password), put your animations in the Animations folder, and they will be there when its time to put them on the board, but please post here as well.
