And the Ambassador has programmed the Solaris Gate with its address. I told him it would be a good idea to learn if others on the station have gates on their worlds and do the same. The more worlds we have involved with his S.H.A.D.O. program the better equipped we will be for our peace initiative.

Quite honestly, I've not given it a thought Captain. My only family members, my Sister Naya and Grandfather Taybor, are here on Solaris. There really isn't anything left for me there.

Why yes Captain!  I was talking to the Ambassador about that just the other day. We have only used our Gate for trade to other worlds. And if you don't judge them by the way my Grandfather sometimes acts, lol we are a peaceful people that aren't all that militarily strong. I am sure they would welcome the chance to join the alliance. Especially for security purposes. |

Brilliant!! I think going to Nuveena's world of Taybok 4 would be a great way to get the Alliance started. We could get information on the other worlds they trade with and possibly get an idea what other worlds may want to join us.

I..I'm not sure Captain. I haven't been back for several years now. I know Grandfather hasn't either.
I feel so separated from them. Would it be alright if I went along? It could help with introductions and it might help them ease into negotiations if they knew a Tlorr was working with both sides of the process.

I would like to go Captain. I guess I didn't give you the answer you were looking for right away is because...well when I lost my Parents, it was a rough time for Naya and I. And if it wasn't for Grandfather, we'd still be on Taybok 4 dealing with it. It was a good thing to get some distance from it all. Going back might do some much needed closure.

(Looks at the monitors and the controls) I'm sorry Captain, the transmission of their metabolism readings has ended. Whatever they have encountered has disrupted the comms. And it has affected the gate from our side. I cannot reactivate it at the moment. (He turns to her) For now they are on their own.  Nuveena get a Engineering team here ASAP. I want the Gate looked over with a fine tooth comb. We have to get it activated! |

Well, I believe the gate was closed from the other side. So its possible they encountered someone, or something there that is causing the power outage.

From our readings here Captain, I believe the Gate has not been harmed but merely turned off and locked. As if our team wasn't permitted to leave. All indications show that all systems are operational. I am sure our engineers will figure this out.
