In this area of the Botanical Gardens, a sealed wing of the complex, you will find the specimens and many grown plantings of Alien Fauna collected on Away Missions. If they are in this area, they are either a possible danger to the staff and general population of Solaris Humanus, could easily be damaged if touched by touring groups of visitors to the gardens or merely need special care to continue to thrive outside their normal environments. If the latter, they can be maintained in special cubicles with their unique environments keeping them stabilized.
Once past the safety airlock to this Wing of the Gardens, you will find it more like a Lab than a garden. This is for the plants and visitors safety.

Now the exhibits:
This carnivorous triphid was discovered on a rogue moon during an away mission during my service aboard the S.S. Kotuku. When any part is severed from the original plant, it quickly grows and becomes a duplicate of the original. It is currently in a stasis pod as you can well understand for safety reasons:

A rare Blue Rose in this realm/dimension, this beauty comes from the Fae Realm of Arcadia. A gift to me, Professor Scifire, from Dr. Sharrel Eiluned, dear friend and former CMO of the S.S. Kotuku and current CMO of Solaris Humanus. It is only recently that I have been able, with my assistant Lemnoc's interdimensional knowledge, that we have finally been able to get the plant to bloom a second time. It now re-blooms regularly.

This Plant is from the Planet Delegacy. It was given in the form of a seed pod to Professor Scifire from the alien Cranberry FO on an excursion of hers to that planet. What it does or its possible properties is still unknown. Growing to its current height of 7' 4" it is now in a dormant 4th stage of a crystaline nature in its display case in the Alien Botany dept. Under constant watch, testing proceeds cautiously. Of course, this leaves the question, which came first the seed or the plant?
1st stage: The Germinating Seed; 2nd stage: The Growning Young plant; and finally the 3rd and so far final stage: The Crystalline plant:
