No ma'am. My apologies for worrying you. I just wanted to alert you to some schematics I am sending you on the plans I have drawn up for the new Aquan defense space craft. I know nothing is official at my end yet about becoming Solaris' Ambassador to Tera, but I thought I'd get the jump on the situation just in case. And....if it doesn't happen, you can still benefit from what I have to offer.

Thank you so much Captain. I look forward to receiving those plans. I will have our engineers begin their preliminary work on them and see just how far we can get. I look forward to Captain Thomas' return to Solaris so that we can put things in order.

Oh yes, ma'am. I did not mean to worry you. I have two things I wanted to speak with you about. First, I have Captain Thomas' blessing to join you and the other Terans on Tera as your Ambassador to Solaris. Its a big and bold move, but I think it fits with what I want to do with my life now and the Captain certainly sees how it fits with Solaris and the hopes of establishing a new Galactic Community.
Secondly, I would like to invite you, your Council and any other members of Tera that you would like to invite to join us here on Solaris Humanus in a couple of weeks for a celebration. We are going to be opening a new 2nd level to our Commons area. Its a show piece of what we humans enjoy doing in our recreation time. We would be honored to have you here for the Celebrations. To kick off our newly found friendship and to show you how we here on Solaris celebrate friends and family.
Would you do us the honor of joining us at this festive occasion?

Dar, my sweet Lorca is so far along in her pregnancy, do you think it wise she goes along with us? Perhaps you should stay here with her. Just to be on the cautious side. There will be so much activity there. She may be overwhelmed.

Forgive me my Queen, but she is her Mother's Daughter. Very stubborn and always gets what she wants. I don't dare forbid her to go. As you yourself have said, it will only be for a couple of days. I'm sure all will be fine.
Quite honestly, I'm more worried about Fluidia and Omnaris going along.

You know us both so well. A little to well.  You don't really think my Sister would dare cause trouble on a trip such as this do you Dar? This means to much to our two cultures to come together and unite a peace initiative that the whole galaxy could follow suit to join. As for Omnaris, he is just her lackey for a lack of a better term. He isn't that helpful in counsel. He will be more of a show piece to represent Tera and the Aquans, nothing more. I shall go prepare for our journey and see that my Daughter is ready to depart. (bows) Dar. |
