MI5 issued warnings about Cyber Terrorism this week as well.
Hackers have been able to create shortages in things like petrol by attacking infrastructure like the pipeline they took down recently. Prices go up and it impacts the economy of the nation targeted. It can also cause political tensions if the government gets blamed.
A few years ago our health system was targeted, I work for a large health board and our security blocked the attack, but some smaller boards were were hit hard. There was an attack a few weeks ago that hit Ireland’s health system hard.
It is frightening that criminals in another counter can cripple a health system and put people’s life at risk.

It really is.
I have wondered, why, would they do that to people's health care systems, they must have family as well in the health care system or they have used the health care systems.
