....Passes Azzie a huge amount of food.... I will go out and help them set up you eat. ...outside.... if you get to close to the tree any fire is going to turn it into a fire stick.

No, I never thought of logs for a lean to I always thought of branches. What you are doing does make sense, and a strong wind won't knock it over.

"Ok here we go."
*kneels down and draws in the dirt what he was thinking...
"If we build it like so....these two for the support and then one going across secured with some paracord and then two to lean back on. We can then use the smaller ones to lay across and build a roof structure.....now for the rocks....you build a small wall in a semi-circle facing towards the shelter...then build a fire in the circle and the heat will then direct towards the structure."

I will sir. I wanted to be here to help if medical attention is necessary. I guess my need to help others kicked in. I have to admit, the excitement when I heard about the program didn't hurt either.  But ultimately Major, for me, its about learning of other beings in our Galaxy. And not just from a medical stand point. The many aliens we know I am sure doesn't come close to the many we don't know. |

I needed something to keep me from being bored. I know that sounds like a means to an end, but I'm used to being in space and travelling. I've meet a lot of races, both good and evil. I've known Captain Thomas for a long time, she did disappear, and not one saw her again, then I ended up coming through that worm hole, and there she was.
Its good to see a friendly face, but more important since she is herself, I liked working with her and want to do so again. I had no idea, she ran a space station, and a lot of things have changed. I've decided that with what is going on in the universe, I want to be part of it, and on the winning team, and with Captain Thomas, we are on the winning team.

I agree about the winning team part Reny.
I also this as a means to servicing my career. I am a teacher. I want to learn more about our galaxy, our spacial surroundings. I want to soak up as much knowledge as I can and take it home not only to Solaris, but all the children attending the Academy present and future.
I believe what we can learn out here borders on the limitless!

"All great reasons....I agree...Captain Thomas is the best. For me....As safe as we may be on Solaris we really don't know everything that is out there.
