Here are two articles:
Dr. Fauci
In the video, he publicly states in 2017, that there is going to be a pandemic. Why would he say this in 2017?
Where Fauci says, and this is his written quote:
Why is this not on every news channel in the world?

After the swine flu pandemic most countries realised there would be a pandemic at some point and should have done a lot more to prepare. The UK did a study, concluded that we were not prepared and didn’t do much about it.
Please don’t think Covid is just a bad flu.
“Clinically speaking” the death rate of Covid-19 might be equivalent of a bad influenza but that is taking the figures out of context. Also at this point there isn’t enough information on the long term impact of Covid on the body.
Corona virus is very infectious, so more people will get infected with it than flu. There is no vaccine so people who are most at risk of dying of flu would be protected by a vaccine so more at risk people will die of Covid then flu. So you can’t compare flu and Covid on a like for like basis.
Also there is emerging data that Covid might cause long term damage even in people who appear to have only mild infections. For example changes to blood that puts people at risk of clotting.
The inflammatory illness affecting children shows that infection with Covid can cause problems not yet well understood after the infection has been overcome by the immune system.
The illness seems similar to Kawasaki disease and is affecting a small percentage of children who previously had Covid. Some kids were asymptomatic but tested positive for antibodies so had been infected with Covid but didn’t get sick at the time and when they did get sick a few weeks later they tested negative as they were no longer infected others had been sick but had recovered weeks previously.
Something in the immune response to Covid is likely to be causing it. At the moment we just don’t know enough about the illness.
Scotland is still in a pretty strict lockdown and I totally agree that it is way too soon to be easing restrictions.

It is frightening just now. I understand why so many people are out protesting but I worry more people are going to get sick and the infection rate will rise.
