When you use the quick reply you have a white background to type on.
When you use the REPLY button you get the actual blue background to type on.
Are the blue colours, between the odd and even posts to close together?
Or should there be a more drastic difference in colours?

Hi Captain. Thanks for the invite to check things out. I think alternating the colors is a great idea. And I think the Blue is great! I have one question: How come I cannot have a space between my first name and my last? I tried twice and they wouldn't allow it. Once I took the space away, they accepted me.

I don't know, but you can change that, by changing your user name:
The top tab menu's are:
Home Help Search Members Admin Profile Messages [/b] Except you wont' have the admin button.
Click on Profile,
Then on the far right, a little tiny way down there is a button that says "Edit Profile"
There are more tabs, in a menu:
Avatar Personal Social Settings Privacy Notifications Staff Options Badges
Click on Personal,
and then at the very top its says: Display Name,
- put your new name in there, with spaces and click your gender (it won't let you save unless you check this)
- save
Now you have a name with spaces.

I just discovered that I can also change your user name - I changed's Sci's so it now reads as Professor Scifire instead of professorscifire. I did it with Sci's as a test, but in future I won't be changing anyone else without consent, besides, I'll know he'll forgive me if he doesn't like it.  |

I did it! LOL Thank you ma'am. This is like learning the boards all over again. Thank you so much. I'll yell if I need more help. LOL And I am sure the Professor won't mind. He's seems pretty particular and would want it changed.

Now that you have changed your name, you must remember then when you log in again, you use your name with NO spaces. Changing your user name in here, will only show the changes in here, but won't change the log in.

I did find that out about the spaces on my next log in. Strange.
So far, everything seems OK.
