*walks in behind her and smells the aroma and just closes his eyes for a moment
"I'm sorry....it's been a long time since I smelled actual food. Replicator food and rations just don't have the same feeling."
*looks around
"Anywhere is fine. I'll grab a few cups and a tea tray."

*Comes back with a tray of tea. Couple of cups, sugar, milk and a small pitcher of tea
"It's Camomile."
*pour some tea and sits across from her.
"Well this is nice."

Liam, I can't help but think you are avoiding the subject. And doing a great job of it by the way. lol
But the Kotuku is a subject I'd be happy to discuss. The last time I sat here in the cafeteria, it was with Sci and the Kotuku came up. He said that Captain Thomas was looking the old girl over and might possibly have thoughts on refitting her.
With the discovery of new Aliens in the galaxy and the threats they pose, I'm willing to bet that is her driving force behind her thoughts.
Wouldn't it be great to see the old girl flying again? I just wish Capt. Psychee was with us to sit on the Bridge where she belongs.

"Refitted?....now that's the best news I have heard all day. As you may or may not recall I worked in security on the old girl and I now her very well. So......to answer your question. I've spent the last 10 years out in the stars exploring during my search to get back to everyone......so you ask where I could see fitting in. Being back on the Kotuku would suit me fine if there is indeed a need there."
*smiles and takes another sip of tea

She is a very reasonable AND smart lady. Why wouldn't she?
There are still a couple that stay on the Kotuku just to keep certain systems running. The others have either left for parts unknown or are still around Solaris.

Its your ship and you aren't taking the Kotuku out on a run, so I don't see any issues with it.

Oh dear, I do have an appointment I need to get to Liam. Hope you don't mind I need to get going. I did enjoy our chat. Always nice catching up with friends.

*after leaving the Yamato i walk up to Dinning Hall feelin hungry fur Miss Mote's crews cookin as i enter i notice it been remodel as i walk into the new star bright i walk up and grab a tray and plate and load up on most of everything i quick pay and find a seat and begin to relax and eat*
