Nurse: (Buzzes for a male Nurse) Well Professor, I am glad you are ready to use it. But the bio-bed you are in is a bit high for you to be jumping off of.  (The Nurse comes into the room) We are going to put each of your arms around our necks and slowly lift you up off the bed and then down into the chair. That's the best way to do this. While you are in therapy, we will get a regular bed for you and show you just how to make the transition when you get back. Sound good? (Each Nurse gets on either side of the Professor, straddling his arms around them and then lifts him down onto the chair) |

Chief Morrow: If refitting our eagles with cloaking technology will take much time , I should be asking you if there is anything else we can do here. My men and I will gladly help out with anything you need while we await the re-fit. As far as our needs go, you have been very kind and I think once Commander Koenig visits Solaris Humanus, the two of you could discuss that important question.

His name is Bosko, he belongs with the Major so I don’t know he would be happy for Bosko to leave the Titain.
And I am not sure the Captain would want you on the Drifter alone. If not Dr Eiluned can help you shield or supress your empathic abilities totally for a short while.

"Chief it is indeed a good idea to get some cloaking technology on your ships before heading home. We can get the installation ASAP. Might be a good idea for you to be present so you can get an understanding of the technology...what it will and will not do. Also might be good in case we have issues with your technology...have experts from both sides during the installation."

He is very friendly but he was created for someone else, so he might not be happy going to another ship.

Chief Morrow: Excellent idea Major. As soon as you give the word they have begun, I will attend. Thank you Captain, that is very generous of you but I don't want to take away from any needs the refugees may have. But a bit of a top of on the fuel would do well.

Bosko is a chimera, a magical construct. I was thinking that he might help with some of the traumatised colonists.
So long as they understand he isn’t a threat he might provide some comfort.
People sometimes are more willing to talk to or take comfort from an animal than another person.

Unlike a natural tiger he purrs like a domestic cat, which has been shown to be therapeutic for humans.
I am sure he would not mind a bit of fussing, especially from the younger colonists
