There are a lot of upset people. There needs to be somewhere people can have a few minutes of peace.
Almost all of the government was lost in the attack. The Mayor is the only official left.

Tanya, its very good to see you, I'm glad that you've made it safely out of those caverns. You're right, lets get those who are in high stress to quarters, as long as there are quarters. All of the government? (lowers her voice) That explains why she is so upset. Oliver, seems to be enjoy my decking Reny.
Major, is it possible we can get some kind of dividers, to help give families, and people some privacy? Probing the area, is excellent, and you should contact Sin, he has been laying out a grid of probe buoy's in the area.

Oliver, I would like you to take the Mayor (motioning to the woman crying on the seat near by) to a private quarters, and let her cry on your shoulder, she has lost a great deal in this tragedy, when she is all cried out, give her a hug, and please call me.
Tanya, have most of the serious critical injuries of people here been looked after?
Looking at the med stations that have been set up, and the smoothness with which they are running.
Major, I would like to go and see Sci, Tanya can you come with us?

Most of the major physical injuries have been taken care of. I anticipate a lot of smaller injuries making themselves known tomorrow. Strains, sprains muscle pain from trying to sleep on the rock ground in that cavern and from running during the attack.
We need to set up a few areas with sonic showers, toilet facilities and places where people can change cloths. We need to start replicating blankets clothing that kind of thing.
The emotional trauma we have not even started to address. A lot of people look totally shell shocked. The Security teams are helping with the most lost looking ones.
I will come up to sickbay with you, I need a quick sonic shower and change of uniform myself.

So far the sensor probes have not picked anything up.
I will recover what debris I can and start a metallurgic analysis.
Hopefully isotopic analysis or the presence and concentration of rare minerals or metals may help us narrow down where their manufacturing or at least mining facility is.
It may be a long shot but any information we can gather may prove useful

Oliver, had started to to take care of portable toilet facilities, when he is done with Mayor, I'll get him on the portable sonic showers,
The med stations look like they are running efficient, would they be able to handle the flood of those injuries tomorrow?
I will have to confirm but I'm sure Charlotte and Rusty are on board, they could on a trolley, take around portable replicators to people so that they recpicate what they need, where they are. Major could you confirm this and get them started?

Aye, it will be busy tomorrow but the sonic showers will help, they can be programmed to help with muscle pain. Strains and sprains we can treat easily enough.
The sooner we know what their future holds the better. Human nature is to crave certainty and control and they have none right now. It won’t be long until they want to go home, even if just to retrieve belongings.

I am as well as a Hologram can be under the current emergencies Doctor, thank you. And just Doctor will do fine.  The Professor is, how can I put this delicately, as good a patient as Doctor's are. Does that give you any idea how things are going? You may check in on him. At this point, it couldn't hurt to have someone keeping an eye on him for a few moments. (Pointing) Recovery Room #2. His chart is on the cart just inside the door with his admission injuries listed, the surgery preformed and results with prognosis and recommended therapies and medications. I will be back in just a few minutes. I have something I believe he needs to settle his restlessness. |
