*Walks up and greets Chief Morrow with a hand shake
"Chief Morrow...good to see you again. Your help in this mission has been a real godsend."
*looks around at everyone as they get the help and supplies needed as they settle in.
"You and your people are welcome to stay. We have several empty quarters on deck 3. Feel free to take a rest...Right now I need to head to the bridge and communicate with the other ships."
*To Caleb
"XO can you make sure Chief Warren and his crew get some food as well. I'll be on the bridge."
*pats Chief Warren on the shoulder and quickly heads to the bridge.
Once there he opens a comm to the Yamato and the Drifter.
"This is Major Voss. Everyone made it back safe and sound and passengers are getting the aid...slowly but surely but receiving aid. Assuming all are back to the drifter and we did indeed lift everyone off the surface I would recommend the Drifter, Yamato and the Titan to exit this region of space. Not sure if the Drej are going to return or not. Please advise.....oh and how is Captain Thomas?...I have not received word on Sci as of yet but will pass that along as soon as it becomes available."

Chief Morrow: Its been a pleasure to help Major. I speak for my associates when I say a good meal and a nights rest will be very much welcomed and appreciated sir. I am sure Commander Koenig back on Alpha would appreciate our returning as soon as possible. We'll depart first thing in the morning.
Oh and I was very sorry to hear about your Professor Scifire and the injuries he sustained. What little time I was able to speak to him, I could tell he was a good man. Please wish him a speedy recovery.
(Goes to make sure everyone has disembarked from the Eagles before he and his men get that much needed rest and nourishment)

Chief Morrow: Thank you Commander. I apologize. If I didn't say it earlier, of course the invitation for you and any visitors from Solaris Humanus are very welcome to visit us on Moonbase Alpha. Commander Koenig did wish me to extend an invitation to all. Its time we let our presence known and help Human kind wherever we find them. And we don't mean to rush off so quickly, but the Commander does get a bit anxious when any Alphans stay away from home for to long. We appreciate your offer of rest for the night. Perhaps you can visit us soon?

*A few minutes later he enters the medical bay and sees Dayna
"Here to see the EMH"
*Looks at the expression on their faces and enters the EMH office
"So..I hope you have good news Doc."

I believe so Major. Thank you for coming.
First off, I have repaired the damage your friends the Drej caused and I can only hope you returned to them in kind!
I'll try to leave the medical terms behind to make this easier to understand.
He had major damage to the spinal cord which I did not want to leave for Nanobots to repair. As good as they are, this was the Professor's spine we are talking about and I felt a more personal, dedicated touch was called for. Quite frankly, I don't think they could have done the intricate work required.
(Showing him the chart of the human spine and the areas that were damaged)
Along with reattachment of these filaments, I had to reconstruct a new disc as the L5 separated from it because it took such a hard hit when he impacted the wall.
Prognosis: With therapy that will be needed to help him learn to be mobile again as such a trauma to the spine does that to one, and plenty of rest, he should make a complete recovery. How his body now reacts to the surgery and his state of mind of course are crucial to determine how successful the results will be.

My Nurse is taking Mr. Zok in to see him as we speak. I understand Ms. Manning wants to see him as well. Once that is done, I think he should have some much needed rest. I am sure you can understand that.

Dr Eiluned to Major Voss, Captain Thomas is stable and resting.
We won’t be leaving the sector immediately.
Once the Demon Hawk is unloaded I will send Sin out to deploy sensor probes to give us an early warning if the Drej or Braxxul return but abandoning the colony would mean integrating over 25,000 people into Solaris which would be a major socioeconomic challenge.
We need to explore and consider all the options for the colonist and find out what they want to do.

"Understood Doctor. My concern was more safety but your point is well taken. That is great news about Captain Thomas. She's in good hands. I have good news of my own. The EMH has successfully repaired the damage to Sci's spine and has assured us that with time and proper therapy he should make a full recovery. He is resting well and Perin is with him now."
*Back to the EMH
"Thanks again Doc. On to other work...be advised he have all of the people from the surface here on board. You may get busy. Let me know if you need anything from the cargo bay."
*nods and leaves him to his work and steps out where Dayna and the others are and smiles but is guarded.

I understand your concerns Major, I have no wish to linger here, but we have over 25,000 frightened and traumatised people on the Titan, many who have lost loved ones today. At the moment most of them don’t know who we are, why they are here or what our intentions are. If the Titan moves out of the sector it may well start a panic or revolt.
Can you draw up a tactical assessment with DH of how we would defend this sector and if unable to, what our fall back plan would be. Sintech can provide sensor data on the Drej Weapons and their stinger ships. Hopefully there will be some weakness or limitations we can exploit. We have a few hours until the captain wakes, a preliminary report then would be helpful.
In the meantime if the Drej return the safety of your ship and the souls aboard are your priority. If you have to retreat to protect the colonists then please do so.
I am relieved to hear that Sci is stable, if you need my assistance with the refugees let me know.

"You bring up a good point. I will speak with the Mayor and ensure we are here to help and perhaps she can calm some nerves. In the mean time I would like to request the Yamato stay close by. The Titan being more a cargo ship does not have much in the way of weapons. The Yamato can more than make up the difference. The Drifter having cloaking technology should probably stay cloaked."
"Once Sintech provides the information on the Drej weaponry we can take look and see what weaknesses they may or may not have."
"For the time being the Titan will maintain a stationary orbit along with the Yamato. Once again...good to hear the Captain is doing well. Voss out."
