Its good to see you all survived that. I understand we had an attack from the Drej. Hopefully the Commander has it under control. I know you are worried about our patient. He is out of surgery and the Doctor will be out momentarily to fill you in on the outcome.

At the console, examines its layout. The drej attacked lasted only a few minutes. Hopefully there wasn't a great deal of damage, looking around there are no gaping holes in the this part of the hull so for now they are good. Wishful thinking.

(Steps into the waiting room)
Well I know you are all anxiously awaiting the news. Thankfully the Drej debacle we went through didn't cause anymore damage. Mr. Perrin, your Uncle came through this better than I thought he would. All the spine attachments I had to make were made. I did have to do some tricky patch work on a disc, but it looks good and with some time and therapy, should work just as well as if there was nothing wrong. I must say, the work was a brilliant piece of artistry and I just wish you all could have watched the master at his best.

(Rolls her eyes, wondering how the EMH got so egotisical when there should be no emotion at all. But realizes perhaps this is what makes him such a good physician?)
Thank you Doctor. When can we see the Professor? I am sure Perrin here feels an immediate need to do so. And I'd like to see him as well if possible.

With the drej attack, the fear of the people rising rapidly she had to leave the cargo bay - running. It was too much, she thought she could control feeling their feelings. She was doing it, as long as people took to their own space given them. Then the attack it was simply too much. Instead of helping, she became a burden. She kept running until she reaches the other end of the ship. She doesn't know where she is, but it is quieter. She simply sits on the floor and starts to practise breathing exercises.

*While wandering the halls away from all the commotion Bosko happens upon AMarie.....being a big cat he is curious as to who this is. Quietly walks and sits down about 10 feet away and simply looks at her. Showing no signs of any aggression.

*Trying desperately to wake from his groggy sleep in the recovery room, he thinks about what he thought the Doctor had told him, "You are out of Surgery Professor. You are going to be fine. I had to reconstruct a disc in your back and re-attach some ligaments and nerves. But I believe with time and therapy, you will make a full recovery. Now rest and I will tell your family and loved ones how you are doing."
Did I hear him right? I had spine surgery? This was supposed to be a fun 3 day holiday with the Captain and Sharrel. What the hell?!*

"Things got a little hairy down there. Captain Thomas has been injured and they have her on the Drifter. I don't know anything else yet. We did manage to get the rest of the people off the surface....thanks to Chief Warren and the Alpha Moonbase Eagles. How were things up here? I saw on the hull we took a little heat."

Ooc just like real life, as soon as your vacation ends it feels like you never had one. technically we did make it back to the station after our holiday, for about 2 minutes.
