I must admit Major, your station Counselor seems to have brought the good Professor around to a better frame of mind. From what I understand, she uncovered the underlying cause of his hostility and he is now working through it. Thankfully. Mr. Zok is in with him now. I presume to get him ready to depart the Titan.

Moves to greet the ladies at near the cargo bay doors. Thank you both for coming. Miss Manning, would you mind waiting here for a moment? Sarina, lets step out into the hall for a moment.
As they step into the hallway.Sarina, thank you for coming, This is about the Major, I would like him to lead the first Stargate team, to start when he gets back from Chai, in a few days time. We both know he has had some serious issues in the past, since I wasn't on The Titan during the most stressful periods during this mission, I'd like you to talk to him please, get a feel for where he is at. He will be responsible for other people's lives, and far from any immediate support from myself and other Solarians, and others will be looking to him for immediate support, and in some cases maybe some of the locals will be looking for some immediate support, and he will be dealing with unknown cultures, and unknown languages, and in short First Contact. If you can get a feel for where he is at, an after mission report if you will, as to where he is at, is he feeling any left over stress? Any regrets? Is he feeling confident?  Pardon me, I don't have to tell you your job, if you could take a few minutes that would be appreciated.

"That is good to hear. I just checked with the EMH and all is good down there. The Talusians are going to be just fine and the records are being transferred to the main medical lab. I am going to speak with Captain Thomas on some suggestions I have for them. Master Perin is with Professor Sci right now and I do hope he is going to be fine. They both need each other."
*looks around the docking bay
"The worker bots were able to get this place cleaned up nicely. The Titan is in good order and after a few minor repairs she should be good to go out again. Would be interesting to see if the Kotuku could ever go out again....well..I can not leave until everyone has disembarked but you are officially dismissed. Thank you again for coming and serving."
*holds his hand out.

I am very happy to help Captain. The EMH on Solaris and I have already done a study for just this reason. We took your recommendations for the team and did some follow up. He seemed quite ready to do this. Now that he has had this mission behind him, I have to say, this will be a good time to see how things have gone from that time to now. I'll get right on it when he returns. Unless you want me to speak to him before he leaves for Chai? |
