Sgt. Ballard: We have a lot of worried residence wondering who did and didn't survive the destruction on Talusia Prime Constable. Many had relatives there. And the fact that there was no communication from them just added to the hysteria. We had to ground several ships from lifting off, knowing full well they were going there to find out what they could. I didn't want them getting in harms way or interfering in any ongoing investigations if there were any. Our medical staff asked several times if medical needs were requested but all I could tell them was to stay ready and we'd get back to them as soon as any word was available. I contacted the SHNN news but they were in the dark just as much as the rest of us. Its been very rough all the way around.

Hmmm, it sounds like a lot of people have been worried, thank you Sgt. you have been a life saver to hold the fort down. Are there any other issues that have come up in regular duties?

Sgt. Ballard: We did have an issue in the new youth center a few days ago. Someone apparently broke in and did a little vandalism. Mr. Pebbington-Smythe seemed to have the issue in hand. He wants to handle this on his own. I'm keeping an armed SST in the area as it makes its grand opening. He wasn't pleased, but I told him I felt we needed a presence their just to make sure nothing else happens.

Sgt. Ballard: Good to see you Captain. We all missed you while you were gone. Speaking of incidences, the Glowing Edge is scheduled to open tomorrow. You should take a look. Mr. Pebbington-Smythe has really done a nice job with renovating the old Neptune Bar.

I'll make that my next stop, thank you.
How have the Solaris Network Studios been, while we were away?

Sgt. Ballard: Very crazy as you can imagine. Everyone here that had loved ones on Talusia Prime were looking for answers. It didn't matter that there were no answers to be found. They still kept flooding them with questions and demands. Attachments:

Do you have a recommendation of a reasonable calm person to talk to there? Verses a person who likes to sensationalise and over dramatize events.

Sgt. Ballard: It really is hit or miss Captain. You know journalists and reporters, always excited about getting a story.

I was hoping that wasn't going to be the answer, but had a feeling it would be, I was down there and they are so busy they didn't even notice, and I am very grateful for that, but, I have to go back there, and would love to avoid Penelope.

Are you going to make some kind of statement to what happened to Talusia?

Sgt. Ballard, is there anything else you'd like to discuss? If not, I think I'll go to my office I don't think I've spent more then half a day there since coming to Solaris.

Sgt. Ballard: Not unless you think the opening of the Glowing Edge needs to show a bit of a security presence there? I was thinking about stopping over there ans just walking through, you know, to make sure whoever tried to stop its opening knows we are watching things.

I think I'll join you at the Glowing Edge, when is it supposed to start?
Looks up at the monitor, as the News cast comes on.
Interesting, do you know anything about the Stargate Program? Do you know if any of the SST might be interested in having an Interview?
