Clay what kind of quarters are you interested in? I don't know a lot about them. I should tell you what I know. The smallest has two bedrooms, families get larger quarters. Each one has a living room, kitchen, bathroom. There are quarters on the inner corridors which has no view of space. Or those on the outer corridors that have a view of space. For starters we need to find some quarters with no name by the door. Those would be empty.

"Oh my...on the cruise ship all I ever had was a one room dwelling. Bedroom/living room/galley....that being said I have no preference....although a window looking out into space would be interesting."
*thinking about Liam and how much he reminded him of his brother....it had been so long since he had seen William, the picture in his minds eye had almost faded but the rush of memories which now flood his mind are bringing everything back to the surface.

That fellow, Voss, seemed to have really effected you. Looking out to space it is.

I agree sleep can do wonders.
Look, here is one, and your in luck its a two bedroom. Lets go in, I think its the SST who have to authorize you for the quarters. That means they come, put your hand print in the system so you can lock your place.

"Two bedroom?...what will I ever do with that much space? Can we go in?"
*reaches for the door and it slides open
"Umm....ok"

With Ensign Robinson.
This place is a lot bigger then I thought originally, and frankly its the biggest station I've ever seen.
What you've said sounds really interesting. Do they ever inspect the units?

(Wondering to himself why THAT question)
Ensign Kyle Robinson: Mr. Reny wasn't it? What an odd question. I've never been involved in that, but if given reason, yes they would inspect. Why may I ask?

I assume what I'm getting is an empty unit, which means it may have been occupied in the past. If they didn't inspect the unit, how do you know its in good shape for another occupant? No one has asked that question before? The station I was on, well lets say if you got living quarters you were living in the lap of luxury. I can't say if people were killed over quarters but there was some turn over rate in some sectors of the station. Places not for the meek to wonder around in.
I doubt there are bodies in the closets here, it seems to nice of a station I have to ask.

Ensign Kyle Robinson: My apologies sir. I wasn't thinking in that reference. Mr. Jameson Morgan is in charge of our maintenance dept. If a suite becomes vacant, he always has it cleaned and maintained, ready for the next occupant.
(This way sir)

OCC Assuming you got lost in life.
Looking at the computer screens where the names should be, at least on the empty ones. He can see the quarters layouts, and finally picks one.
I think that this one will do nicely, what now?

Ok got it. Following the instructions given by Robinson, his name suddenly pops up on the screen by the door.
Welcome home to me. Thanks Ensign Robinson. Leaving him in the hallway as he goes into his new quarters.

It is good to be back Ensign, it turned out to be a much longer absence than I was expecting.
