Something tells me from the look Sarina gave you Liam that your story is a big one. And I would enjoy sitting down in the coffee shop and chatting with you about it sometime soon, but right now I need to get back to the office. I'm going over last minute instruction with my new Manager of the Edge.

This a great color don't you think Sarina? They match very well with both areas they are adjoining. (He walks over to a bulkhead and leans against it) And the paint is dry! What the...(just then the bulkhead he is leaning against begins to feel like it is falling as his weight pushes against it)
SARINA!
(He pushes Sarina out of the way of the falling bulkhead, but manages to put himself in harms way)

+She turns around as she hits the floor wondering what happened. Then she hears a cracking noise and looks up at the beam above the bulkhead. It is shaking and looks like it is about to fall right on Winston. She quickly gets up and instantly her form blurs and she transforms+

(The framework has fallen and as the dust settles, Winston finds himself feeling a bit suffocated as he is feeling an enormous creature kneeling over him)

+She grabs part of a beam that is laying on her shoulders as she hovers over Winston and throws it aside. She then transforms back to her form+

(Gets up off the floor, brushes himself off and nods to her as she is saying she is alright. He looks at the rubble around them and then spies the following..)
This isn't any fault of shoddy work on my teams part. Look at this. (He picks up a piece of metal from the fallen framework and points to the cut in it)
Someone deliberately to a phaser to this. Just enough cuts to have the first person that leaned against it cause it to fall.

No. I don't want to do that. Yes, this is close to opening time, but I believe this was meant for me to find. The person who did this knew I'd be here checking on things up until that last minute before the opening. And I've had a funny feeling all week that something was just not right.
I think I have an enemy Sarina. One that doesn't want me to succeed. I need to look into this discretely.

It's possible, but not really his MO. Willoway is a coward and although he would have to hire someone to do this, I don't think he'd go this far. He'd be to afraid evidence would come up to implicate him. No, this has all the markings of someone who is holding a grudge. And is finally acting on it.

Of course. I'll get my crew on this right away and get it repaired before the opening tomorrow. It will cost some overtime pay, but it has to be done and they are a great group and deserve the extra money. Thank you so much for joining me for dinner. For saving my life tonight AND letting me handle this in my own way. |
