We don't actually know much about the Drej, history shows us that they were ruthless and wanted all eliminated but themselves. However, things have changed over the last number of years, taking hostages, people gone missing, unknown labs on planets / moons, now the experimenting -- I am assuming --- that is what they were dong with Dayna's brother and son, and the lab you found. And who know how many others???
It makes me think they are having a genetic problem, I get the feeling that: yes they obviously feel they are a superior race to us, but maybe they also want something from us.
IA, when the Major's comm comes in, delay it a few seconds and cut all open video and audio communications with the Drej, I can't have them hearing any incoming communications.
Back to the Drej.
Opens audio and video communications with the Drej.
It seems we might be having some intermittent technical difficulties, so if we get cut off, I will instantly try to re-establish our connection.
I must say, I'm grateful for this first contact.

Asss I sstated Captain, we were on a reconnaissancccce mission and picked up ssignalss in thisss area.
Why iss it that your sstation hass not been noticed in thisss area before? It would suggessst that you are up to sssomething quessstionable.

Notices the drej ship is more visible in the window then it was before. Grabs a tablet, writes a note on it, and holds it beside the vid screen so the Captain can read it, without the drej seeing him and the tablet.

The Solaris audio and video open comm, starts to crackle and break up for a few seconds before it goes down, meaning she staged a communications error and shut down the audio and video comm.

Reny let me know when the Major and the group have started to move towards the city and the doors to Deck 13 have been closed.
Re-establishes the comm with the Drej, both audio and video.
