It has Premiere. And the Solarians have all been very welcoming. I did discover a Dimensional Rift as was suspected by the council. And possibly who was responsible for it. With the aide of Captain Thomas, I am hoping to put an end to the cause so that the Universe won't have to worry about this happening again.

Premiere, these riffs, do they occur in your area frequently? I am pretty sure I know who is responsible for this one, but if you have detected others, then there must be others trying to enter our dimension, do you have an idea of who them might be?
I am wondering if there is a connection between Braxxul, the being we believe to be responsible for this one, and any others.

Very good question Captain. There is folklore told by my people that an evil entity known as, Phasma the Destroyer had found a way to breach the Dimensional Barrier in an area between Eridani Umbra and our moon Ish. This was nearly a millennia ago. The threat was taken seriously enough that our Ancestors devised the device Ambrosious has shown you to detect any breach in the Dimensional Barriers. As the lore goes, Phasma broke the barrier, how has never been discovered, and attempted to cause chaos throughout the entire Omoaes Solar System to which we belong. It goes on to say that all the worlds in our system joined forces and destroyed him. Other tales say that his plans for domination in the dimension were only thwarted and he escaped back to whatever dimension he came from.
Whatever may or may not have happened, our current people of Eridani Umbra have never seen another dimensional traveler. But the device to detect such rifts has been kept at hand, watched and even installed in our vessels so as not to be taken by surprise ever again. Needless to say, this bit of folklore, has always been taken seriously.
This current rift has no suspect by our people Captain. I refuse to believe that Phasma could still be alive after a millennia.
This Braxxul you mention, is he capable of such atrocity?

Premier, I plan on luring Braxxul to a neutral location as suggested by Captain Thomas and discuss the Dimensional Drift we have encountered and see if he admits to causing it. Then I convince him that I am an enemy of the Captain's, due to the incident with my Father a couple of years ago, and offer him the station in my vengeance against her. If he takes the bait, I would then offer to show him how our Drift seeking devices work so that he could continue using the Drifts against Solaris. Then offer him one that isn't working.
Of course there are still a few little details to work out, but that is it essentially. Your thoughts sir.

I believe the plan itself is a sound one Ambrosious. But isn't it a bit naive on your part to rely on Braxxul to react the way you want him too? A genocidal maniac is just that, maniacal. I'm not saying it won't work, but it could go wrong in so many ways. Great care must be given to those "little" details!
May I ask your thoughts on this plan Captain Thomas?

On the positive side, if things were to play out as planned, I like the end result
On the more cautious side, I think we need one or more contingency plans.
On the negative side, this could go horribly wrong.
However, I am for moving forward with this plan, and will call in my senior officers and get feed back and to make contingency plans.

Ambrosious, I will give your plan my blessing...on the condition you do as Captain Thomas says if she instructs you in any way during the execution of said plan. I will also have a ship...or two at the ready should you need assistance from us. Don't hesitate to communicate a need no matter how big or small.
