The Drifter: I have the Major, Dayna and Reny on the scans and it looks like they are approaching what must be caverns. But I am unable to penetrate them, they have some kind of shielding. As for scanning the remainder of the planet, it is only that section of the planet that I am unable to scan.
Thank you Drifter, can you try different frequencies to see if you can break through the shielding?
Knows that they will proceed with caution, but still worries.

The Drifter: Captain, I've made it through another layer of the interference. I am making progress, it seems that one of the remaining layers is some kind of pulsating frequency, I am able to pick up the Three crews's life signs, but they are weak and are intermittent due to the pulsating frequency, but I expect to have worked though this in a few more minutes.

The Drifter: Captain, I'm through, you are clear to comm. I've picked up four life forms. Three are our crew, the forth is in some kind of stasis or cyro chamber, there are life signs, but unsure of the condition of the occupant.

Drifter, are you now able to do a complete scan of the cavern, and all surrounding area? Lets say up to a mile in all directions.

Also, have you been able to analyse the layers of interference? The possible source of interference? And any historical records of any races using that pattern of interference?
Can we counter that interference? You've broken through it to be able to communicate with the away team, but can we neutralize it?

The Drifter: Captain, the interference is localized to the cavern. I can't turn off the interference, I don't have that capacity as I don't know the exact locations of the sources creating the network of interference.
What I can suggest is that we beam down some frequencies generators, pre-programmed that will neutralize the interference in a circumference around the area where I have localized the interference. That will effectively neutralize it for us, and who ever created it won't know the difference, for them it will still be active.
We will be able to communicate with them and us with them. We can use the transporter if needed.
As for securing the location, I can set up a level 10 force field by transporting force field generators around the cavern.
Please do all of that.

Comm to the Major
As you know there is communication interference from within and around the cavern, The Drifter has broken through that interference, so I am able to communicate with you. The Drifter is going to set up some frequencies generators in a circumference around the cavern that will allow you to use your comm or to beam out.
However, The Drifter is also going to set up some force field generators, and if you are within the cavern when that is set up, you will be contained with in the force field which will be set to level 10.

The Drifter: Captain, 30 minutes on the frequencies generators and another fifteen for the force field generators.
Comm to the Major,
You have half an hour before the frequencies generators come online, and another fifteen minutes befor the force field generators are activated.

Comm to the Major The Drifter, has three med bots, I can send those, however, if you need more then that, The Stealth will have to be utilized.
As for the stasis chamber, working on possibilities for transporting it.
