Reny, what are your thoughts on teachings some basic skills to those who signed up for the stargate program?

DH said he would also teach them, and I would ideally like you both to do so.


If we split all the applications into two groups, you take one group, DH takes one group, and then switch later on, you can both give me some feedback on who works well together, and what there strengths and weakness are.

Good, go get some rest and start planning your training program first thing. I will start dividing the applications into two groups, so you and DH can start your training, tomorrow.

They can still be trained together as two teams, lets look a bit closer at their strengths, and team work abilities.


People Strengths


Sarina Kelthon -- A Counsellor, She herself is from another world, and understands its complexities, previous Stargate experience, previous Starship experience on the Kotuku. Values life, and the quality of life.

Reny -- A good person to have on the ground, ability to think on his feet, and has the expereince to back that up, values life, and knows basic survival. A pilot.

Nurse Seth Mitchell -- Solid medical background, works well with others, values life, and the quality of life.

Chandra Sulee -- A strong pilot, leadership training, values life and the quality of life.

Oliver -- A pilot, some very unique experiences and abilities, willing to face a challenge.


Nigel Black R.N -- Solid medical background, works well with others, values life, and the quality of life.

Danek -- Works in an education and team environment, and willing to face challenging environments for the betterment of the future.

Mordecai Bixby -- A botanist, a scientist, is willing to learn, some things.






People's Team Work Capabilities

What about DH? does he also want to join?

And what of the Ambassadors? Will they go on any missions?

As for Lee, I think I'll have him watch the training sessions first, then maybe intereact with both groups during some of the training.

Who best to balance Bixby? Sarina might be best for that.
Medical for each training team.

And what about Sarina and Oliver? Sarina is going to have her hands full with Bixby. I think I might bring those two together to meet with me and the three of us can talk.

Chandra, (she smiles) it would be good for Bixby to have to follow two strong women.

That leaves the remainder four, and (looking at then names) this is good, I'd like to see how Oliver interacts with Reny, and visa versa, they can both be stubborn.

Nigel should have a calming effect on those, or a having balancing effect, he has a good head on him.

Danek, I am not really familiar with his characteristics.


I'll post these teams first thing in the morning.


I think I'd like to talk to Lee, as well, it might be good if both he and I were to watch the training of the two teams.

"I'm certain your reccomendations will be fine.  I trust your judgement implicitly."  

"Thinking right off the top of my head, I would start everyone involved on a regiment of vitamins and a proper diet along with a regular exercise program.  Also everyone should have medical clearance for any off world mission....myself included.  Survival training is an absolute must along with regular team building functions to the teams would be able to act as a cohesive unit right from the start.   Everyone on the individual teams need to know each others strengths and weaknesses before stepping through the gate....firearms training....No one goes through the gate unarmed.  You never know what you are going to encounter out there.  Perhaps a program could be set up in the holosuite to replicate any environment we may encounter....I'm sure as we start missions we can refine any sort of training to best suit the needs."
