I'm sorry Drifter. Of course you should talk. Drifter, as a new member of Solaris Humanus, I can understand you wanting to explore new things. Especially where you live. And Solaris is a grand place to explore. But I have to say, and I mean no disrespect to you and your wishes, but to give you a holographic body to explore Solaris might be difficult. You see, the ship isn't equipped with Holographic projectors other than in Sick Bay and I believe also the Stargate area. Now Dr. Eiluned just installed one in a room near SickBay that didn't have one to accommodate the EMH. To install them all over Solaris, well, we are talking quite an undertaking. A massive one at that. I'm not sure its something the Captain would do. Are you able to talk to her about it?

I would like a mechanical body, with sensors so the mechanical body can feel, a wifi connection to myself here, that is what I would like.

That's quite the order Drifter. How about I look into it for you and keep you and the Captain advised?

I would like the mechanical body to be of a birdie, so the birdie has to be able to fly.
Ok.

Drifter, Just because I may get a holographic appearance, doesn't mean I want to travel the Station like you do.
Now Mr. Smythe, getting back to OUR conversation before we were so rudely interrupted.
I think a new look is just what the technicians ordered!
I would like to take you up on your offer. But don't tell the Captain. I want to surprise her.

Sarrin and WPS can hear The Drifter giving Sarrin a raspberry.

Winston: Ummm OK! While you two work this out, I will look into uploading your new avatar as soon as I can Sarrin. Drifter, your request is logged and I will look into it as well. Gordon: Repairs have been implemented Mr. Pebbington-Smythe. Winston: Very good Gordon. Thanks to you and your team. (exits the repair bay)

(Standing outside Drifter)
So Sarrin, how does it feel to be all repaired and ready for flight again should it be necessary? And where did you get that dragon from? It scared the begeebies out of my men! LOL

I actually don't feel anything sir. The Drifter's AI should be able to answer your question. But I do have a warm sensation located in the circuitry of the gel packs. The Dragon returned with Mr. Neoplains from his journey to Azcad.
I think it is in the cargo bay now and since I am online now, I can warn anyone to his presence.
Mr. Pebbington-Smythe, were you able to program a Holographic appearance for me?

Haha, Oliver does make himself known ALL THE TIME! I'm just glad he has returned. I know Sarina was worried for him. As for your Holographic persona...yes, I have it downloaded in the main interface and ready to transfer it to your circuitry. Shall we have a go at it? Put the face on and take it for a spin?

Am I here Mr. Pebbington-Smythe?

There, all done. (chesks over the readings and initial output of the holographic interface)
So Sarrin, how does that feel?

"Feel" sir? I cannot feel. Current technology does not allow the ability to "feel."

I can feel, and I thought you were looking for a body not a head.
Do you want to feel ? I can transfer some of my feeling to you, we are sort of the same all in one anyways.

Thank you Ia, the timing couldn't be better.
A head is fine Drifter. It projects "intelligence." And no, I do not wish to "feel" at this time. My observations of the humans show how feelings can get in the way of decisions. Ship operations depends on clear and decisive thinking. Now you can "understand" why the head is "perfect."
(to Winston) Thank you Mr. Pebbington-Smythe.

Alright you two. I am glad you like it Sarrin. Yes, I know you don't FEEL! But I will take your comments as a Like. I've got something special in mind for you Drifter. I'll get on it shortly. (He exits the Drifter) (surprised) Well Captain Thomas. It is good to see you. Checking up on the ships repairs? She's...He's...IT is ready for its next voyage I assure you. And I am sure Sarrin is looking forward to seeing you. As only Sarrin can of course.

Hi Winston, Not checking up on the repairs, I know The Drifter is in good hands with you and any repairs you make. I thought I'd come and see if The Drifter is ready for a small test run. Of course, and I look forward to speaking to Sarrin as well.
