Reny, Ensign as soon as we touch down we get the pod out and a safe or at least safe ish distance from the ship.
I wish we had time to fully scan it and figure out exactly what it does but that hum is getting louder. I am still not sure the sequences to unlock the pod but given the Drej went red before going boom I am leaning towards not touching the red switch

I know I said to get us on the ground but this isn’t what I meant.
I can’t lift the ship but I might be able to bubble us and the pod but we would need to abandon ship.

*the ship powers back up and alarms start sounding “Fly up fly up fly up.”....the descent slows as the ship levels out but the ground is coming up fast........the descent gets slower and slower until it is more manageable

*Quickly looks at the screen to try and ascertain where the plateau was....spots it....screen goes blank....looks back out the cockpit windows.
"Looking around I think we set the coordinates to enter the atmosphere right over the spot Ensign.....good work finding it. Let's get on the ground."

Any landing we all can walk away from sounds good Major.
Tanya as soon as we land we get the pod out, Adam positions the shield generators to deflect any blast, we go with the green lever to finish the deactivation sequence. Make sure you have a tricorder recording as much data as we can get in the pod and the effects of the sequence.
Reny keep the pod in your sights. I don’t think there will be a Drej in there but I don’t know that there won’t be.

*brings the ship about and gently sets her down on the deck.
*breathes a sigh of relief.
“Remind me not to do that again....Ok this things needs to get off this ship. Sharrel....you’re the Chief Medical Officer...That makes you in charge. Tell us where you want it.....wait!....is everyone ok?”

Let’s get the pod as far as we can towards that side of the plateau with the shield generators between it and the ship in case it is boobytrapped.
