I'll go and look at the ship.
Hears the diagnostic by the ship.
The ship is saying that to re-enter the atmosphere could lead to catastrophic failure. Sharrel, I suggest we transport over to the Demon Hawk and then land so you can see to whatever that stasis pod needs. This ship is no good, I would also say that the Ensign take the helm of this ship and head back to Solaris with the Major. If they need medical then maybe Tanya could go with them.

Sharrel, Doctor, I know you are some kind of high ranking person even though I haven't known you long. I ask you to relieve this guy (pointing to Garjobuva) of duty. The ships computer is telling us that entering the atmosphere could lead to catastrophic failure, and yet he is telling us that structural integrity is holding. Its holding because we are in space, not entering the atmosphere. I gather he is willing to risk our lives by putting this ship into landing mode in order to care for the person in that pod. If this ship lands and can't take off again he is risking leaving the ship behind. We don't know these people on the planet, we don't know how leaving the ship here could effect these people. He hit his head, medical reasons.

The Major will be medically fine shortly, it’s complicated but I don’t think I need to step in yet.
Major what is our offensive and defensive capability.
If the ship cannot take the stress of entering the atmosphere where does that leave us tactically. Can the ship take a hit? Will the integrity of the hull hold if we are caught in another shock wave or if we need to run and tax the engines.
How do you propose we proceed?

Going to Solaris is not the same as entering an atmosphere. The shields should hold from any hits as long as they are not sustained. In the interest of safety, perhaps if we can dock with the Drifter or the Demon Hawk then we can offload this and I can fly the Stealth home alone."

You may have been out on your own in space for a long time buddy, but you need to understand how to work with others. I understand some of your concern, but the situation isn't that extreme. At least not yet. You challenging the Major sounds like borderline mutiny to me. Pull back and lets keep an eye on things.

"Ok...it's kinda tight in here but we can push everything back and set up a lab for you and Tanya to work in. While that is going on perhaps I can get a closer look at the hull situation. I have a suit that I can get on the outside of the ship and perhaps do some temporary repairs. We are in a stable orbit and should be fine. Is there anything you need from the other ships?"
