Look at this and tell me what you see. It's all around the ship, circular pattern. And it looks like its been burnt into the ground.

Well possibly, but look at it again. It surrounds the crashed Gou'ald ship in a full circle. There is nothing that says circle with that ship or anything in the crash site.
I just found it odd.

(The ship is low enough in the sky above for the 5 below to see a small hatch open on its underside and a device protrudes from it. A high pitched sound is heard by all and they become frozen in there tracks, not able to move. Then a bright green light is projected from the device and shines down, lighting the area) ((OOC: you are not being harmed and once you all have your discussion of what might be happening to you, I will continue))

((As the men were stopped in there tracks, the wide green light then turned into a beam of light and focused on each of the men one by one. It scanned them and then after the fifth man was scanned, the light turned off, the device retracted back into the ship and the ship hovered above them as they were able to move again))

(Back on Solaris) (Looks at the monitors and the controls) I'm sorry Captain, the transmission of their metabolism readings has ended. Whatever they have encountered has disrupted the comms. And it has affected the gate from our side. I cannot reactivate it at the moment. (He turns to her) For now they are on their own. Nuveena get a Engineering team here ASAP. I want the Gate looked over with a fine tooth comb. We have to get it activated! |
