*exits and heads back to the Docking Bay to get to the Titan

Captain, I can promise you ...looking at Reny.... that we will do our best to take care of The Drifter we know how much this ships means to you.

Placing a hand on Oliver's shoulder.

The Drifter is not an ordinary ship, not like my past ships, this ship is alive with a consciousness, and these are not simply words, The Drifter is alive, a sentient being, I am not going to explain how, because I don't know how, but The Drifter is another being, and needs to be treated as such, The Drifter, you might say is a living extension of myself, and you need to care for The Drifter as such.

I wasn't kidding, when I said I would harm you, if The Drifter is hurt.


Ok, more important issues, there is all of this drej substance that was found in and around space with the destruction of Talusia, and from The Titan, we would love to run some experiments on it, as we know nothing about it. AND it is because we know nothing about it that we can't trust it, for all we know it is harmless in the sense that it can not be tracked, but we don't know that, and Adam somehow has some of this in him, and it might be trackable we simply do not know, and I can't risk all of the lives on Solaris by taking this drej substance back to Solaris, including Adam.

I want you two to find high points of natural radiation, around planets, or moon or in a asteroid field and leave the substance there so we can later come back for it, as the same time do as much scanning of the area as you can, The Drifter, and Sarrin have the scans from Sin, The Demon Hawk, earlier, fill in the gaps, and Oliver, do you remember when you tried to blend with a Stargate?

I am going over to The Titan to head back to Solaris, again take care of The Drifter and Sarrin.

The Major left some in the shuttle bays, and you'll need to talk to the EMH and Sarrin about the rest of it.

Heads to her quarters, and looks around, and she can hear the call of her hot tub, but shakes her head, she packs a small overnight bag with a few things, and as a last minute thought, she takes the birdie off her shoulder and places him on top of her overnight bag, and has a quick shower with really hot water and it feels amazing and is a good distraction for a few moments to what her people will be doing, she smiles, her people, her family.


She wants to go with them, but she is torn, as echos of Sharrel comments pass through her, a huge conflict of issues, she knows its the right thing to do to go back to Solaris, but other parts of her are saying its not so. For now, she needs to focus on getting over to The Titan, but she has noticed that The Drifter has been really quiet, drying herself, she gets out a clean uniform, dresses and sits on the bed beside her overnight bag.



Drifter,

I have to go, its too complicated to explain, but there are a lot of people, who lives are in danger if this mission isn't carried out.

On The Titan, there is a fellow, a really smart, and brilliant fellow, his name is Perrin, if anyone can build you a body, its him, but as you know for now you have to stay here for now.

Pets the birdie.

I am going to miss you, and yes its true, he is brilliant, I am going to talk to him while over there, if anyone can build you a body its him.

For now, you can sit on Oliver's shoulder if you want, I am sure he won't mind, and he is a good fellow, and I know he is fond of me.

I would rather not leave, but you will be in good hands, I know its not easy, it is really hard, but you will see me again, and I'll see you again.

Sarrin, will you please watch over The Drifter? And Oliver and Reny? And I wasn't kidding about zapping either of them, not something to really hurt them but a warning if needs be, use your discretion, if it seems like they are putting you or The Drifter into obvious danger.

Picking up her shoulder bag, and hanging it over her shoulder, she picks up the birdie and cups him in her hands, and brings her hands to her mouth, she whispers, "I love you", and opens her cupped hands, petting the birdie, as she heads back to Oliver and Reny's location.

Oliver, Drifter, the birdie, needs a shoulder to sit on, I told him, you wouldn't mind, this birdie is an avatar for The Drifter the sentient ship, he can talk if he wants, right now, he is feeling really sad and maybe lonely because I'm leaving, so please take care of him for me.

Placing the birdie on Oliver shoulder,

Maybe your flurble can keep Drifter company?

As the birdie flies back to her shoulder.

She picks the birdie up again, and whispers, that she loves him, and that that she will see him again, and will miss him, and to please trust her, she places the birdie back on Oliver shoulder.

Comm to The Titan


Titan, beaming over to the Bridge, 10 seconds.

Looks at Oliver.

Its you and me, I'm going to get that drej goo from the shuttle bay from where the Major left it. I think we should put all of this stuff in one place, in its own containers so we can be ready to ship it out when we find spots for it. Why don't you talk to the EMH to find out how much more of this stuff we have.

If we are going to put it in containers we should bar code them it will help ID them later. ...goes to the sick deck walking in as Sharrel finishes her sentence. smiles at Sharrel.. hey Dr I'm looking for that drej goo.
