Ummmm, well he is getting to be a young adult now. He should be with a family that can do things with him. Share life experiences and teach him what he needs to know as he goes thru the next phase of his life.

I'm hardly Father material now. It would just be what is better for the boy.

Caleb, you have been a good friend, always, and I do appreciate the visit. Would you mind now if I ask for time alone? I grow tired and I think some rest is needed. If I wear myself out, the EMH here is going to take me to task and that is something you don't want to witness.
Perhaps we could visit again in a day or so?

Major I realize you want to do more, and I recognize that, and you will soon, because the Stargate program will keep you very busy, and as a side note, can you make a point of when you get back to Solaris, to find fighter and cargo ships that will go through the Stargate?

Joona has taken good care of Engineering while I was away Major. Things look A OK to head home. (thinks for a moment then says)
Major, when Joona cleaned engineering after the attack, she found this. (shows him the flask of "Drej Dust")
Its residue from the Drej ship exploding. Do you think it might be helpful in anyway in our fight against them?

I apologize Major, I had no idea that it might be dangerous. My Exo-suit did not react to it at close contact. Clearly it needs looked at.

I don't know if the Drej were on Talusia a lot, but my Father didn't seem to think much about it.
(After the Major enters and Perrin confronts him with the "Dust")
Perrin, my Father didn't seem to worried about it. I don't think its dangerous.

"Most likely it isn't dangerous but I think a containment field can't hurt. We can run some tests on it on the way back to Solaris and if it is deemed dangerous we can then decide how to dispose of it properly. Thank you for letting me know. Never hurts to take caution."

The Hyperspace drive is available at maximum output Major. I've been keeping an eye on everything while Perrin was gone. Of course he can check out all the equipment and make my assumptions valid.
