What do you think I want? I want to walk again. I want, *begins to break down* I want the galaxy free of those damned Drej that put me in this contraption.
*Looks into Sarina's eyes* I want, I want to save my son from those bastards. Keep him safe and....*begins to cry* I wanted to keep my wife safe. I couldn't. They killed her and now they are after Perrin and I can't keep him safe. They kept me from keeping my wife safe and now they have put me in this chair, keeping me from assuring he stays safe.
They've won Sarina! THEY HAVE WON!
*crosses his arms while rubbing his upper arms with hands as he shivers, and looking up at the ceiling*
I COULDN'T KEEP MY LOVED ONES SAFE BEFORE, HOW DO I DO IT NOW?!!
*rocks back and forth in his chair as he sobs* I can't help them...I can't save them....I can't save them...

No they haven't won, NOT YET!
I suspected this but I had to make you tell me. You needed to get that out. Do you see now what is happening? You have to forgive yourself Sci. You had no control over what happened to Maureen. You had no control over the latest Drej attack. No one did. And Perrin isn't in danger because you feel you can't keep him safe. Oh Sci, you have to let go of this anger over the bad things that have happened and forgive yourself for being human and not SUPERhuman. No one is all empowering and we all have our crosses to bear. And with help, you are going to find a way to deal with your demons. I promise!

They have won....they have taken Maureen from me and now they are trying to take Perrin away. And I can't get out of this chair and stop them.

Thank you Nurse. The Professor is a bit out of sorts right now. We made a breakthrough and could you help me get him out of the chair and into the bed? Then I will see about getting him sedated just a bit so he can relax. Its far overdue!

Miss Nyree, I do hope your "Breakthrough" was worth putting him in such distress. Thankfully his general health is very good. Something like this could have caused a stroke or even more psychological damage in a patient with less stamina. Please keep that in mind?

Thank you for crying along with me. Is that part of the process? The Doctor right down there in the trenches bleeding along with the patient? Cause that's how I feel. So very raw and my eyes opened to what I've been doing...to myself and everyone else.

Your guilt over your wife's death, taking on the burden of blaming yourself for that, combined with your fear of the same thing happening to Perrin, is it any wonder you shut down? Pushing everyone away that loves you because you subconsciously felt that if you loved them, they would be in harms way.
Close your eyes and gets some rest. Let the healing process begin. And as soon as he is available, I'll send Perrin in to see you. I know how much you both need each other right now.

(Perrin hits some buttons on the computer and the torpedo is taken by a mechanical arm and put onto what looks almost like a medical cart. They then press buttons on the cart and walk along side it as they take it to the docking bay)
