+Makes it back to her quarters after the mission. She makes a note to herself to see Sci tomorrow and find out how he is doing. Heads to her bedroom where she undresses and then to the sonic shower. A soothing, relaxing 15 minutes there and then she is off to bed+

Leaning against the wall, as she waits, she starts to make a mental note, outside of those she needs to talk to, of the next steps, one of which should find out exactly when the Grand Opening is going to be.

Thank you. Sitting down. There are several things I wanted to talk to you about, The Major, what are your thoughts of him and his command on the Titan, His future in the Stargate Team. Your future in the Stargate Program, preferably on a Stargate Team, and Oliver, on a Stargate Team. As for talking about myself, I hadn't thought about that.

Major Voss. Well...the EMH and I have had our chance to evaluate him shortly after you, Sci and Sharrel left on your vacation. We were in agreement, and I don't mind you checking with the EMH if you feel the need, that he seems "sea worthy" at this time. He crossed all the T's and dotted all the I's I had when he took my mental and emotional stability examinations. His fragile state of mind when he was under Drej control does appear to be over with. It is certainly something that he will never forget, but I believe its behind him now and he can function as you would expect a Leader to function. Of course anyone under that kind of duress could easily fall back into bad habits "IF" those circumstances were to arise again. But we are all taking a chance anytime when we confront old and new battles. In Major Voss's case, his command on the Titan I thought was exemplary under the conditions that unfolded. The Stargate Program I think would be good for him and Solaris' goal of searching for and enlisting others races to join a Peace Alliance. He has experience with other races that I think would be a credit to any mission. Could he have a set back? Yes. Could any of us? Of course. But I will say that with what I have observed, you have a fine leader on your hands. My future with a Stargate Team? I think any mission should have someone along that can observe and evaluate all members of a team to help keep them on track mentally and emotionally during a mission. Should that be me? I would gladly serve under Major Voss or YOU Captain during a Stargate Mission. I can't speak for them but, we have several members of the Med Team in SickBay that also qualify in this area. Sharrel, Tanya, and Nigel, should you need a list to work with. As far as Oliver is concerned, before he left for Azcad, I would honestly have to say I would worry about him on a Stargte Team. Not because he is unstable, but because of his situation before coming to Solaris held such a hold over him emotionally. I would worry it would be difficult for him deal with such a mission for any long length of time. But with that said, I cannot judge his stability today since I have no knowledge of how his trip to Azcad went. How it affected him and how he is feeling. I know he has just returned, and I am sure needs some rest as anyone would. But sadly, I have not had any contact with him since he left for Azcad or returned. What that says about him and his experience, I wish I knew. +The Captain can see by Sarina's expression and the tone of her voice in that last sentence, that she is so worried for him right now and what there is or isn't left of their relationship+ I hope I crossed all the T's and dotted all the I's you presented to me? And as far as talking about yourself...we all need someone to talk to from time to time. And it doesn't have to be a medical visit. Its just a healthy thing to do. I'm here anytime you feel the need to express any emotions or concerns about anything Captain. Please know that.

Thank you Sarina, I appreciate your views.
Hears the sadness in Sarina's voice, in some ways she can feel her pain, and in other ways, she can't, but she mostly certainly understands that she is upset, and hurt.
As for myself, I know I can't be as bold as I used to be, its frustrating, but I understand it.

I would imagine that close call you took on Talusia Prime would be the wake up call? You do have to consider the people on Solaris Humanus that have entrusted you with their lives. Its quite a responsibility. And I can understand you feeling the need to stretch your wings from time to time. Perhaps a visit to the Holodeck now and then could alleviate the need for those stretches? I know it wouldn't be the same, but it could help. Or an evening with a good friend to just listen and hear what is going on with you at the time? Besides myself, Sci, Sharrel or even Captain Gideon comes to mind.

I would love to spend more time with Arthur, but with Solaris Humanus, its a 24/7 job and sometimes I barely have enough time to eat let alone spend quality time with another human being, and Arthur needs to find his own way here, so does Chandra, they spent so much time looking for me, and they can never go home, so they have to find their own purpose here, a way to be happy.

Well as your station's counselor, I do recommend you at least find the time to EAT! And finding a little rest and relaxation personal time is a must for anyone. (In a very caring manner) Captain, please make the time. If you take away nothing else from our conversation, take that bit of advice. You won't be doing yourself any good if you don't. And you won't be any good to anyone either. I'll make a mental note to speak to both Chandra and Gideon. Just to let them know they are welcome to speak to me if needed, anytime.

OK, but I will be checking in on you! Oh my! Where are my manners? Captain, can I offer you a spot of tea or some other refreshment before you go? I'm sorry, I think my walk down the corridor before I got back to my quarters has me a bit out of sorts.

Quite honestly, I am not sure. I had just gotten back from heading to Oliver's quarters when I found you at my door. I was going to check in on him, welcome him home, but being late as it is I changed my mind. I feel there is something wrong. Or at least a change from what I know as normal. Have you ever had a feeling that something was different, so different that you could feel it in the air? Professionally I know better. Personally, good or bad, the air is very thick with change to my senses right now.

Yes, I've had that feeling, in addition to talking to Tanya, Oliver is on my list, to ask him about his trip, as I understand it, this trip was a huge thing for him.
Give him time, I'm sure he has a lot to work out.

As Sharrel leaves Oliver’s quarters she sees Anita walking away from Sarina’s. She decided to see if Sarina has time to talk as she must still be awake and so knocks on the door.
