As I've never seen the original series, I cannot even begin to compare that to the new one. It's got an interesting plot, though I still want to know who set the robots off, but I haven't got that far yet, if they've got that far. The family's not quite a family, the kids are strange but I guess having to pass a test in which proves their 'usefullness' in order not to be killed on Earth and remain with their family they'd have to act like a grown up very fast.
I was thinking about this last night more and more, about the kids having to prove themselves, so that they won't be killed, and no concrete thoughts as of yet.

I have seen Logan's Run. Also (dating myself) I have seen the Logans Run TV series as well.
They had a Logan's Run TV series?

I loved the Logan's Run TV series. It was a shame it only lasted one season.
That is an awesome animation Drej Drone.

You can watch it again with that link above Sci.
Sci, you saw the Lost season one, what did you think of the kids having to prove themselves?
Drej, I'm not seeing an animation, can you please repost?

Its not animation Captain. More or less a cartoon version of the new series. Some people call it animation.

I thought most of the story was relatable to the audience today because they are much like today's population in they are not perfect people like in years past.
The one thing I didn't care for, but will get along with, (lol) is the fact that it is very female driven. I have no problem with strong female characters, but giving it a number...9 out of 10 of the strong characters happen to be strong females. Very few strong male leads. I prefer to have it more balanced. Why does one gender need to be more "strong" then the other? If we are to promote equality, wouldn't it be safe to say equal strong characters to be the way to go?
I think we've gone from one unbalanced view to another. When are we going to get it right?

The show aside, those are really good questions.
