Of course, I will also look in on the Mayor. The colonists must be very afraid.
I hope we can retrace our steps and get back to the Drifter. I hope they and the Yamato were able to escape the storm.
Do we have any of the SST onboard? I hope the Drej were lying but we may well have lost the Lt.

"If I may interrupt. I was able to extrapolate where we are....in a matter of speaking. We can tell the approximate location of where we started and take the location of where Twilight is located and put together a destination from where we are. It will at least get us in communication range. The only problem is it's not safe to make a jump to hyperspace at this time. I don't think it would be safe."

"This is Major Voss. I apologize for the rough ride....we have successfully jumped to hyperspace and are now a safe distance away from the Drej. The Titan has sustained some damage due to the blast and the violent departure. She's a tough ship and we are all safe. Repairs are underway and as soon as complete we will make a hyperjump to rendezvous with the rest of the fleet. For now get some rest, help where you can and do your job and we will all get through this. If you are in need of any medical attention please do not hesitate to let a member of the medical staff know. Food and water services will be back online as we get back to some sense of normalcy. Voss out."
*To everyone on the Bridge
"I would like to portray a sense of calm for the refugees. Let's lower to Yellow Alert but do now broadcast it. I'm going to take a fighter and conduct a visual inspection of the outside of the ship. That along with the diagnostic from the XO we should be able to see how long the repairs are going to take. My hope is we can do things quickly and quietly and get out of here. Not a big fan of being out in the middle of nowhere."

*After a careful analysis Caleb comes up with some hard numbers.
"Major...We are going to need 48 hours to take care of the stress fractures on the outer hull. The main engines took a beating but I have worker bots going through and giving a thorough tune up and that should take no longer than 36 hours. The hyperdrive is fine and as soon as the outer hull repairs are made we can make a hyperjump to to Twilight."

After I return I am going to get down in the cargo bay and make sure the Alpha Moonbase ships are getting the cloaking technology installed and then I'll check on the food and water situation in the cargo bay. That was being set up before the attack so it should be underway."
