*Walks over to Dayna and smiles down at her

I'm widening the scanning area now sir. If there is anyone down there, we ARE going to find them.
(takes a quick look over at the door Sci and Liam went through as she bites her lip, then back at the console to do her work)

"Sci we all lost. We are all in this thing together. As for this mission....failure is NOT an option. We are ALL going home on this one. As for Perin you need to give him more credit. He has done an excellent job in engineering. Joona and his robot companions have been as asset as well. Instead of worrying so much about him,...you should head down to engineering and tell him how proud you are of him. Upon our return to Solaris my report to Captain Thomas will show what an exemplary good of a job Perin has done....worthy of his father's praise."
*Sci should be able to tell there is something much different about Major Voss. Something he has NEVER seen in all the years he has known him. A different person all together.

OK. I'll go see how he is fitting in down there. *hands Gar the bag of 6 micro-ion flash mini asteroids as Anita called them and explained to him how they were to be used and that 5 were to use and the 6th was for my return to the Drifter if need be*
*walks toward the door and as it swooshes open, he turns back to Gar*
You know Gar..Major Voss, I think this mission gave you a new purpose. I like the vibe as Perrin would call it, that you are projecting. And that says a lot coming from a man set in his ways. Well done.

*the door closes and he looks at the bag and suddenly looks toward the bridge and has an idea and rushes back to the bridge
*The doors swoosh open and Lee rushes in with the bag...
"Sci is headed down to engineering....should be a nice reunion with Perin. He gave me these from Captain Thomas...they are micro.....we'll call them interference grenades. If we can pin point where the Solaris News team has crashed we can launch one of these and set it to go off at precisely the same time as we beam them up. They should interfere with any scans thus masking the transport....so? any luck finding them?"
"SST....anything on scanners?"
