Its good to see you to Joona. This is Zachary Morgan. I met him on the Drifter. Security found him alone and injured on Talusia Prime. But he is OK now and he came here with me to look around a bit while I get those transporters back online for the Major. They need them pronto!
(Hurries over to the console and begins his calculations and adjustments)
Charlotte, maybe you and Rusty can keep an eye on Zachary while he looks around. Joona, could you assist me please?

Everything is going to be fine. Now if you feel anything, anything at all, I want you to acknowledge it to me.
(he takes a bio detector ((The size of a comm device)) and begins moving it back and forth above his legs, activating different levels of pressures to the legs)

I'm sorry Professor, I set the bio detector on several settings. You should have felt a pin prick, as feather in a dusting motion, a squeezing sensation and a light slapping on your shins.
You felt none of that?

Quite honestly Professor, I can't answer that right now. I wasn't expecting you to get right up out of bed and go back to your regular activities, but I did think you were going to be able to get up. I want to run a few tests. More in depth than just touching your legs. Look at the spine again and while she is in the area, maybe Doctor Eiluned can take a look and give her thoughts.
Now I want you to relax. I'll have a Nurse come in and prepare the equipment for the tests. In the meantime, REST! Doctors orders.

“Doc is right. You need your rest. I’m by no means an expert but it could be you just have some swelling that is effecting your nerves. Give it a little time and see what happens when the swelling goes down.”
*looks at Dayna and then back to Sci

Thank you both, but no I don't think there is anything I need that hasn't already been provided. Sorry for the dramatics, but when you go to move and you can't, I think a bit of panic is pretty much called for.
I'll try to rest. But it won't be easy. I know the bed is being cooled automatically to help with any swelling. I just need to concentrate on working in positive mode.
Go back to work you two. I know things are really crazy out there.

Major Voss, this is Perrin. I've got the transporters online, but it is only a temporary fix. They will need an extensive over haul. But they are safe and usable now sir!
