Before turning the comm to the drej back on. Sarrin, please contact The Titan, and make sure that Sharrel has been notified about the drej and Lt. Kendal. Oliver, Reny, I'm sure I don't have to say, I want you both quiet during this conversation, if either of you can't be quiet, then leave the bridge.

Thank you for the update but am using Bosko to keep an ear on the Bridge.
You know you can’t agree to their terms.
The Lt would not want you to, and your capture would be a significant blow to Solaris which would leave thousands of civilians in danger.
If what we suspect is true it would be a fate worse than death for those civilians to fall into Drej hands. As horrible as this is, you can’t agree.
Can you get any of the probes near enough to the ship to scan for the Lt’s com device or life signs? I might be a long shot, but if we can take down their shields for a few seconds it might be enough to beam him out and get the hell out of here.

To the Drej, and at the same time, uses two of the probes, one on either side of the drej's ship to scan the drej ship for Lt. Kendal.
No, you know I won't comply, what you are asking is akin to me asking your leader out to poisoned tea, you won't allow that to happen, and I won't trade. What is your purpose? Why are you even offering to trade? What are you up too? Have you planted some kind of detonation device on Lt. Kendal? And why are you joining in with Braxxul, I wouldn't if I were you, he will eventually show is true colours to you.

Sends a communications buoy to the surface of the planet where the Colonies were, to re-direct her communications through that, so the Drej would think she was on the surface when they next communicate.

Lt. Kendall: Captain, Its good to hear your voice. This is Adam Kendall from the SST. I don't know where I am right now, just that I am on a ship with a Drej pilot and several guards. Captain, would you know if my wife Daphne has been seen anywhere in the last couple of days? The Drej kidnapped her to get me to give them the codes to access areas of Solaris Humanus. I didn't tell them anything Captain! I am sure they guessed that the codes would have been changed once I came up missing. They removed my ID chip this morning. I can only guess its because they don't want you to identify where I may be here on the ship. They are EVIL Captain. I don't know why I am here or what they want now.

Its good to hear you Lt. we have not heard any word of your wife, and I know you haven't told them anything. I don't know how this is going to play out Lt. but whatever happens know that we will do our best to get you home, we'll search for your wife.

(Off in the distance, but traveling fast is a COSMIC STORM. All ships in the area begin to feel the rumble of its power and will have to adjust stabilizers to ride it out should it cross their paths)

Captain, my senser's are picking up a Cosmic storm entering this sector. It is a storm of much power and its picking up speed and density as it approaches. I advise the utmost caution.

Thank you Sarrin. Please do a quick diagnostic on the shields, and is there anything you can suggest that will help protect us, you and the other ships in the wake of this storm?
As an after thought.

Disconnects the comm with the Drej. Activates all of the physical shields over the windows on TheDrifter, and shuts down as much electrical components as feasible, and pilots manually, Oliver, you have the pilot's chair, Reny you have the co-pilots chair, you take over, Standing up.Drifter, I want you to go into the emergency server, now. I am going to separate the emergency server from the rest of the ship, in case the storm causes some electrical damage, I don't want you to get hurt. I'm on my way to the server room. Leaves the bridge, heading to the hidden server room, and after gaining entrance, sees the lights flashing confirming that the Drifter, and Sarrin's back up's are active, she separates the server from the main frame.
Feeling a huge wave of relief pass over her, this storm feels like it is going to be rough.
She make a direct route to engineering and separates the backup generators, takes the main engines off line, she knows its a risk, but if they ride with the storm, like a surfer riding the waves, the The Drifter won't get hurt, if they try to fight it, they are going to get damaged. Heading back to the bridge, she opens a comm to The Titan.
Comm to The Titan. Major, this storm is looking nasty, if you can, re-enforce as much as you can the shields, and shut down as many electrical systems as you can, Myself, Sharrel and Sci, have already expereince a storm similar to this and this one feels like it going to be a lot rougher. Physically separate any back up generators, separate their connect before the storm hits, so that they will work after the storm passes.
By the time she finishes the comm to The Titan, she is back on the bridge.
Oliver, I want you to ride this storm like you are a surfer on the waves.

(The Cosmic storm seems to grow larger in size but is only getting closer. There will be no getting out of its path and once it hits, you must ride it out. The outer edge of the huge cloud of cosmic dust is now upon all of you and as you look out your viewscreens, looks much like the beginning of a rainstorm) Attachments:
