I think me and Reny should escort those in the Drifters shuttle bay to the Titan. Kate is still there. Azcad was an adventure before it became boring. for now Reny and me should go over.

I think the Drifter can transport them over. Just make sure they are ok and no one needs medical attention and has been identified before they go over.
*After they leave Sharrel grabs a couple of protein bars then starts to consolidate all the sensor results, environmental reports and starts running simulations both on returning the colonists to their planet and increasing their defences and on integrating them into Solaris. Looks over as the monitor beeps to tell her Anita is awake and several hours have passed*

Kate, I've set up the transporter, you press these buttons to send us over. NOW .... Reny and him along with all of the people on the Drifter disappear through a transporter beam out to the Titan......

I'm still here and breathing, and it wouldn't be out of place to say that I feel like the floor of a landing pad with an oversized shipment on it. But there is something bothering me, that drej that caused my fighter to blow up, it recognized me, and it showed the emotion of recognition.
Is everyone from the planet safe? Are our people safe?

Everyone is fine. Colonists are all on the Titain, we need to find out what they want to do then figure out how to help them but at the moment Major Voss and his people are looking after them.
Feeling like a shuttle landed on you is normal all things considered, but a Drej drone showing that level of awareness is not.

The level of awareness of the drej, it has me worried, if I didn't know any better, I would say that it was part human, that was my first thought after the shock of recognition, besides getting out of that about to explode fighter.

That is unsettling. I have never heard of a human like Drej, although given that whole debacle with Rosie we know they have been conducting genetic experiments on humans.

Speaking with a sudden urgency.
Where is he? If he had been among the colonists he would have come forward as some point and identified himself, whether it had been on the planet, or The Titan or on one of the Moonbase ships.
We need to find him.
We need to find out where the drej are, and we need to find out where Braxxul is, and we need to collect info to plan an rescue mission.
Slides back down into the bed, feeling sick to her stomach, hoping that Lt. Kendall and his wife are not with the drej, or Braxxul.

Oh gods that is an awful thought. I hope you are wrong but it makes a horrible kind of sense. I can’t think why the Drej would want captives.
SSTS have been searching for the Lt and his wife and we have been scanning for his bio monitor but found nothing.
You need a quick shower and some food before speaking to the Mayor

If for some reason, the drej can no longer make drones, that they no longer hold their integrating, or energy? Then they may be looking for replacements, that they can covert, and humans have their own internal energy source. You mentioned Rosie, that model was not stable, maybe they have found a cross-between that is, and still looks drej.
I feel ill to my stomach.

Or they may be trying to create a new hybrid which has more capacity for independent thought and to reason.
But we have no proof of to corroborate any of this, right now it is just a theory, and I hope that is all it is.

He is already out on patrol and deploying sensor pods to map out the sector and give us an early warning if Braxxul or the Drej return.
Unfortunatley the shockwaves created when the Drej stinger detonated combined with the weapons fire and the drones that DH took out, that I really, really hope were drones has flooded the whole sector with radiation. We are lucky we still have coms but we need to be careful with any long range transports.
We need to locate the Drej base, if the Lt had been on the planet we would have found him, even if he had been killed in the attack his bio monitor would have remained online long enough for us to locate his body before it ran out of power and degraded. They only self destruct if they are physically removed.

You are absolutely right of course, I guess at this point the best we could do is to send hundreds of probes into every direction and see what comes back. We are lucky we have comms, pauses, we should take samples of the radiation, and compare it to the radiation that was collected from the atmosphere, and make comparison to any radiation collected in the past, that in its self might tell us something.
Do you think that we might even be able to collect some DNA, either Drej or if it is combination with human, if it is mixed with the radiation?
My greatest fear for the Lt., assuming he is with the Drej, is that they will know he is from Solaris and will torture him, or use his wife against him, and that includes killing her.
